I had no plans to try this place out after having 6 bad Experiences and food poisoning from the york location . But it was totally differnt ! I loved it I did end up eating and would def return. The staff was so nice and clearly knew what they were doing unlike the york one. They had Karaoke and it was so much fun ! Will def be back !
Went there this past Thursday, 4/14/2022 and was thoroughly disgusted! We sat outside in the patio and noticed cigarette butts everywhere, dirty napkins on the floor and cockroaches! It's obvious the owners and staff neglect any king of cleaning or sweeping. Our meal was not much better, the cooks just threw our burger together without any presentation and the quality and taste was lacking. The wings were a joke, just fried and too heavy seasoning.Another annoyance was all the smoking...join the twentieth century and band smoking all together!Definitely will not go back or recommend!
We arrived a bit before 1 pm on a Saturday. There was no line, so we were seated immediately...near the kitchen. The restaurant was rather dark and didn't seem all that clean. The waitress, Carrie, was great; however, we waited 30+ minutes for our burgers, and they were burnt on one side. The fries were warm but limp. As we didn't wish to wait for a replacement, they sent us home with another burger. Would not return.
Few years ago a water main had busted across the street. Water was contaminated for a bit and these guys made their employees serve people food on plates washed in this contaminated water, their tenders at that time chipped a tooth of mine. I havent been there since. The owner needs a re course from the better buisness bureau if you ask me. I dont know how the employees deal with an incompetent boss
BAD Experience, unprofessional staffing and management (Not Kid Friendly). After ordering and asking for fresh dropped wing we waited in anticipation we were severed by a poorly trained waitress, no straws , no napkins, was unable to tell use what was offered to drink. When our wing were brought out (took only 3 minutes ) they were dry and no sauce we asked to have them re done with attitude and from staff and manager. At this point one of the regular decided to express his own option in (in a rude way) after receiving are order we just wanted to leave but before that the rude regular decided he (wanted to talk to my 11 year old daughter) I told him he had no right and told him she don't talk to strangers after this we had enough and headed to the door when the (kid) manager said he heard me say that I did not want that rude man talking to my daughter and I was out of line. I was told not to return. The place used to be good but now it is just poorly managed
Wing King in Charlotte has held the crown for wings for me since I moved to the Charlotte area over 20 years ago....Towne Tavern is giving them a serious run for their money! I've had them 3 times and they get better each time and they're great. Cooked and seasoned perfectly.
The wings there never fail to be delicious. We ordered mild and lemon pepper flavors they were a good size and perfectly cooked.
This is our family's "go to" spot for wings, whether dining in or via take-out. We have never had bad service. The servers are professional, friendly and the food is delicious. The prices are competitive and serving sizes are generous. Pre-Covid, there was Music Bingo which was a great time for families. We will continue to be loyal patrons!!!
Was going to pick up order for daughter...thought it was Penn Station the host look for order of course it wasn't there but she was kind and helpful and the staff was friendly too.... I'm giving it 5 stars for customer service and the food must be good as well because business was booming definitely going back to eat
Wings were like chicken jerky. We all ordered all flats and when I asked the waitress why I got drums she said that is what I ordered and walked away. I always order all flats like we always do. Very nasty person and over cooked wings.
