Tried the Shrimp n Grits for the first time there. They are literally the best I have ever had and I'm not a huge fan of them. They were so good. I couldn't eat it all, but it was too good to go to waste, so I brought it home. Simply amazing.

Veggie Omelet: asparagus, roasted tomatoes, sweet peppers, caramelized onions, spinach, goat cheese. Flavorful omelet with the onions and cheese. Came out nice and hot. I would definitely get this again, but would probably ask for a little more goat cheese. Personal preference. You can’t go wrong at Flipside. Great menu that is priced very reasonably. Their food is very fresh, including the fruit, and the service is friendly and on task.
Went for brunch on Sunday and everything was delicious!!! My omelet was huge and the fruit was fresh. My friends loved their biscuit skillets (not sure exactly what it was called). The price was probably the fairest pricing for brunch I've seen in a while. Our server took great care of us. We made reservations over the phone and were seated immediately upon arrival. Can't wait to come back!!
Great food, friendly and sweet waitress, flavorful and different foods, everyone was nice and wonderful atmosphere!!
While working in the area, found out a few restaurants were closed on Tuesday. Found the Flipside on Tripadvisor and called to make sure they were open. They were open and we enjoyed delicious dinners. I tried the mushroom ravioli and enjoyed every bite.

When I tell this stuffed trout with risotto is the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. I wanted to cry. And then it's only $13 if you go at lunch time! Like how? If I lived in the area, I would have lunch here every day! You MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!!
Good place for lunch a bit on the high side on price but the beer was cold and I got their lobster mac and enjoyed every bit of it!
My wife and I try to get here when we can, and every time we have an enjoyable experience. The food is inventive and reliably good, the service is always impeccable and it's just a pleasant place to dine. We were welcomed and seated quickly for lunch. During the COVID era we've shifted our dining time to 11 am or 1 am for lunch in order to avoid crowds, and that was the case for this lunchtime outing at 1:00. The menu is always interesting with plenty of options, but one of us usually ends up with the Flipside burger with pimento cheese and bacon jam. This time the other ordered the Cuban sandwich for something different. Sides were sweet potato fries and the loaded crispy potatoes. Food arrived in a timely manner and was outstanding, as usual. If you never order anything else here, please order the burger and the loaded crispy potatoes. Oh, and add the Brussels sprouts, too (we skipped those this ONE time). Service was particularly good on this visit, as our server, Ashley, was very outgoing. We had a great meal, sharing the burger and crispy potatoes, and took the Cuban sandwich and fries home to share for lunch the next day. Any time is a good time to eat at Flipside!
