I am always out in different communities working. Sometimes I pack my lunch and other times I stop somewhere and eat. There aren’t a lot of places that let you eat inside. I was happy to see I could dine in here. The food was served fast, fresh, hot and correct. The new owner was cleaning tables and making sure every had what they wanted and needed. He is working hard to create a good atmosphere for people to come in and sit down.It’s rare to see a manager cleaning tables and throwing away trash. He is definitely leading by example. No one is to big to do any job. Please go give the new manager and his crew a chance
Staff was very nice . Lost our order. Told us to share fires when we paid for another. Cheese sauce was like plastic. Paid 99 cent for onion on sandwich and they just set it on top. Dissatisfied and disappointed. Not like old Steak 'n Shake. Tires to act like environmentalists by using biodegradable soggy straws but then usesStyrofoam and plastic cups. Milkshakes taste artificial.
When I pulled in I notice the guy who cooks the food outside smoking. He was wearing his plastic gloves he wears to cook the food..scatching head,smoking and touching door handles with the same gloves that he cooks our food.
Ordered and double cheese burger. Nothing hard, with mayo. They put ENTIRELY TO MUCH MAYO on the burger, I had to take the empty fries container to scrap it off. And also replaced the drink with a shake, put more whipped cream them the actual shake. This is their way of screwing us on our money.
I have to share my experience about my encounter with these amazing young people at this store. It really made my day and night. I was having a rough time due to unforeseen circumstances recently. My family and I decided to go out and get a treat at Steak 'n Shake in Rock Hill. They are such beautiful young men and women. My family and I were really impressed with the courteous, friendly service. The whole staff that worked that night on 3/4/2022 was AWESOME!!! Special shout out to Akhil and Carly! I will never forget the kindness shown at this location. Keep up the good work guys!
Excellent service, delicious milkshakes. Also, the updated self-service kiosks were efficient and easy to use.Most importantly, they were above and beyond in customer service. They were out of chocolate milk (the individual serving ones sold at most fast food places) and one of the kitchen workers (I wish I'd remembered to ask his name) mixed one up for my son by adding chocolate syrup to a plain milk. We didn't ask for it, we didn't expect it, he just did it and it was so, so thoughtful. Also, the new owner came out personally to ask how everything was, which was a nice personal touch.Overall, we'll be happy to go back.
Haven't been inside since the pandemic. Inside now is pretty much self-service minus bringing the food out. Order yourself, fix your own drinks minus the shakes, seat yourself, clean the table when you're done. The food was good, came out fast.
??????New Owner!??????Mark, was working the drive thru! He was so nice, told us that him and the staff were turning the place around! We have seen the difference, the staff is so polite and above and beyond making sure everything was right with our orders! Milkshakes, drinks and food were perfect several times! Hot food and fresh ice in the drinks at the same time! We will be back!
We went in on Friday about 5:30 pm , ordered easily at the kiosk and in just a few minutes the team brought out our food. It was all made to order and hot. Great service and a great crew!!!
Some of the best service and food I've gotten from a steak n shake last steak and shake I was at had last than satisfactory staff and food. I told the manager I don't know what he's doing to keep his employees happy and cheerful during this stressful time with people that don't want to work but to keep it up I want to thank you and your employees for keeping your heads up and making my experience even more enjoyable
