I ordered my chicken meal online and when I arrived everything was ready for pickup on time! The fried chicken here is out-of-this-world!! So light and crispy & juicy too!! This will be my go-to place for fried chicken when I'm at work in Rock Hill. You've gotta give this place a try if you've never tried it before. Don't be discouraged by the outward appearance. You won't be disappointed!!
Ordered food yesterday. Ordered a meal with Mac and cheese and a Mac and cheese on the side. I called to add another item and she tells me by the way there’s no Mac and cheese I said ok please cancel the Mac and cheese side order. She refused to cancel it and made me take a side cause I had no choice. I’ll ge disputing with my bank as the food was cold and terrible and was forced to take there food rather than canceling the extra side.THIS PLACE USED TO BE GOOD I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED
On top of ordering 4 catfish dinners that turned out having only two 1-2 ounce pieces of fish each, my whole family is now sick, because either the fish had turned or the oil used for the fries / hush puppies was old. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend to anyone.
Expensive for the little bit of food that was not really good in my opinion. I got his sandwich which was nothing more than a bun with tartar sauce and a piece of fish which was kind of dry like it was old and reheated. Husband got deviled crab and mushrooms and grand daughter got chicken strip meal this all came to $30 which was approximately $10 per meal and fish sandwich definitely was not worth $10 no lettuce, tomato or even pickles nothing we will go somewhere else from now on.
I called in three (3) orders. All three were hot and fresh. The service was prompt.
Sitting here in the restaurant now, ... the manager taking the orders is to busy arguing with staff in the back she can't focus on placing orders. Actually cursed them out!! Told them to kiss her A$#.. People arguing and yelling back and forth... I ordered 2 dinners and 2 drinks, she said my total was $47.. she rang me up for 4 dinners... Now the waitress Evelyn was great! She made sure we were ok and drinks full.. She even apologized for the commotion going on in the restaurant!
What has happened to Shrimp Boat? This is not the Shrimp Boat I know have ate here since 1979 I knew the original owner and this is not the way he cooked chicken. The batter was not the same and neither was the Cole slaw. So disappointed. Sure hope you go back to the original recipe or I will not be going back. With that being said the staff was great!!

I ordered a flounder dinner and this is what I received. I mean really. The chicken was luke warm ans the fries were cold. They staple the bag so you can't see it. $27.00. Pics don't lie!
I got chicken livers, only myself in my family like livers so I always go to Shrimp Boat when I want them. Always prepared and cooked perfect. Courteous staff, Clean facilities. I Recommend.
