The fried chicken is always wonderful. My favorite is the chicken sandwich and fries. I have been eating from the Shrimp Boat since I was a kid and it always top notch.When they say "Ain't no Chicken like Shrimp Boat" they ain't lying.
The people before me who wrote any reviews on how GOOD this food is, obviously does not like seasoning or flavor in their food! Fried Cat fish- mushy, not crispy at all, fried shrimp is out of a box fried chicken wings must be cornish hen wings. I am giving them 2 stars for the great service from the lady in the dinning room.If you dont like seasoning and have bad teeth, this is the place for you.
The bad...Salt n pepper catfish was horrible!!!! Hush puppies were grease soaked / looked like they were left under a heat lamp with the limp, slightly warm French fries. Cole slaw tasted horrible. Restaurant was nasty/ dirty / Un kept. The good.... Staff kindly switched out the catfish for chicken....Go for the chicken if you go!!! Kind / friendly staff. Two stars...1 for the chicken, 1 for the chicken ?
Best fried chicken in Rock Hill. This location needs a major restroom upgrade. The restrooms remind me of an old gas station from the 1960's. Nasty.

Kids meal and drink cost $9.04 and it only had about 10 fried okra and 1 extra small leg! They should not be still in business with that going on.
I love, love, love Shrimp Boat! The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend! I eat here all the time now & Their chicken is amazing!

I have never had anything from shrimp boat except for the chicken. I tried the shrimp and fish and fried mushrooms. The fish was not bad it could’ve used more seasoning but the shrimp was totally frozen shrimp it was mushy and I could tell it was out of a box or a bag with a little freezer burn. I am going to guess and say that the mushrooms were also frozen because they were watery. I am disappointed that they would use frozen, not even good frozen food. I could’ve did that at home. They give you a lot of food and I know why now. Best believe it won’t happen again I will not be going back.
