I had the Fish and Grits from breakfasten menu.The grits were creamy and fish was cooked perfect. The food came hot. The restaurant was clean also. I enjoyed the 80's VHI station it had me and some other patrons jumping to the beat while eating.
I love the food. The only thing is the portion size vary depending on who in the kitchen. The prices are very reasonable. They stay busy as well. So pack your patience.
Nishie G's has been one of the staples of good southern cooking in Rock Hill for decades now. Breakfast lunch or dinner, I have no problem recommending this restaurant to people that ask for food at all times of the day. They have some of the best specials out there and they truly have some of the friendliest staff you can find.
People were very nice and had suggestions for those of us not so familiar with the menus. Sandwiches ordered were the cheese steaks and chicken parm. They were both delicious and so were the curly fries and mozzarella sticks were to die for. Yes I will come back with family and enjoy the outdoor seating. It was a nice, relaxing, comfortable family outing.
This was my first meal at Nishie G' s. The Calabash shrimp was great, the fish was ok just need some salt. I did not like the Mac & Cheese at all. It was a little expensive.
I had high hopes based on the ratings but was pretty disappointed. Honestly when I go out to eat the last thing I want is paper plates with plastic utensils. Trying to cut food and you have to be careful not to cut through the plate. Food was meh; pancakes were undercooked and doughy, turkey club was just a sandwich with Kraft American processed cheese. Added a third star for service - they offered to make it right, and the French fries were good.

My wife and I have lived in Rock Hill since 2009. I came up to work as a contractor at Piedmont Medical Center, and after I first started my job, my co-workers wanted to take me out to lunch. Of course, I had no idea where to eat, but they assured me Nishi G's was the place to go for lunch in Rock Hill. Well, fast-forward to 2022, and this restaurant is my wife and I go to for lunch on weekdays. We have since expanded our family from 2 to 5 oh, now having a two-year-old, a three-year-old, and a six-year-old. We feel like the restaurant staff is our extended family, always feeling welcome, even with our children. If you want a laid-back, great Greek restaurants, with fast service, I highly recommend Nishi Gees. If you don't have time to sit for a long meal, perfect. If you want to have a meeting that's a bit more lengthy, perfect. I've never had a bad experience here and I look forward to continuing to dine here. Thank you guys for making our new home in Rock Hill so great for the past decade.
I enjoyed the service, food was tasty, a tad too much on salt. Great value on pricing wasn't too crowded. Would love to see more menu options.
