I like McAlisters, but after waiting 25min for my takeout order, (and still waiting now), I’m pretty sure it’ll be a long time before I come back. Yes, like everyone, they are understaffed… but there’s no concessions to make the place run faster. Like how about NOT taking door dash orders? Or how about moving the drink dispensers so customers can help themselves? Or narrowing the menu? Or prepping a bit better in the morning?The staff was working hard…. The systems must be broken. There are only 3 people in here eating…. And we’re still waiting. Now 35 minutes… for 2 sandwiches. Ugh.

Visited this location because my daughter wanted food from there. My daughter ordered something simple off the menu, but it took a long time for the food to be ready. A couple that came in behind us ordered their food& was served before my daughter got her food. Only when I asked for a refund, after waiting so long, that w my daughter's order was finally prepared. This is the worst Mcalister's that I have ever visited.

Service was terrible. Many tables were dirty and had not been cleaned. The tables that were clean rocked more than a rocking chair. Took approximately 45 minutes to get our order. Staff acted like they could care less. Don’t know how they can stay in business with service this bad. I will never go back to this place.

Ordered online. Food was ready at the designated time. Should've checked the bag before I left. My pickle spear that I had requested was missing and so was the avocado on my sandwich. Had I known they were out of avocado, I would've ordered something else. Poor communication and quality control. Do better.

We were at the store on Herlong Avenue in Rock Hill.SC and had the poorest service we had ever had at any restaurant. After 40 min of not receiving our food and others around us being served I asked for someone to check on our order. She came back with one meal and not the other. 5-7 min pass and still no meal. I politely asked for a refund because we had waited now 45 min. The young girl at the register was very nice and apologetic. The manager was rude and when we asked for a managers number to tell about our service she refused to refund our money. We could hear her I. The back saying that she was not going to serve us and laughed. When we said we just want our money back and she could be heard saying that she was not going to handle it. The other girls in the back all giggled at her brazen refusal. We asked if we needed to call the police to get our money back she said she didn’t care call the police. A nice man came out that didn’t have the authority to refund the money asked what happened and we told him the story and that we just wanted a refund. He got on the telephone and called someone. Finally another manager came up and refunded our money. She apologized for the woman saying she was frustrated and didn’t handle it well. Someone like that does not need to be in a managerial position. And she certainly shouldn’t be In The back laughing loudly saying how she was not going to serve us that someone else could if they wanted to. The whole transaction took over a hour and we still had no food.

My sandwich was awful. There were layers of paper in my sandwich I guess from the cheese slices. Absolutely disgusting! It looked like it was just thrown together then taken on a roller coaster ride. The bread was soggy, the avocado was smashed not sliced which made the bread all wet, my pickle was left off, AGAIN. I couldn’t pick up the sandwich without it falling apart. I was not satisfied at all.

The service was absolutely horrid I mean they were slow and acted like you were not speaking loud enough for them to hear and had this dumb founded look on their faces when you did speak. Then when you do raise your voice for them to hear they would give you this really rude mean mugging look on their face. Then when you get your food, the food was cold and not hot. The food was also not made correctly it’s pretty shameful. They apologized and used the whole we are short staffed due to COVID. You can hear them laughing and messing around in the back and listening to music back there. It sounded more like a party then a place of business.

Ordered online went to pick-up and no one had taken the time to call and say hey we are out of pizza would you like something else off the menu? But no they wait till I get there to tell me.the pizza was for my son and was upsetThis is unacceptable if anything I learned in business communication is key
