Last 2 times our order has taken at least 30 mins past the time we were quoted. This time we were told the pizza would be ready at 5:55. I get there at 5:50. I get a message saying the new time is 6:18. Too far to go home so I had to sit there for 30 mins. Very poor time management. I will go elsewhere.
We had dinner here tonight, location on Cherry Road in Rock Hill, SC. Server was amazing, food was delicious, portions sizes were enough for 3. And the Ranch. Wish I had thought to get some to take home.We will be going back! Thank you for a great meal.
The last order I had there was an error and they swiftly corrected it courteously and professionally, which was the reason I revisited this place today. The staff is friendly, the service was quick. The food is pretty good and moderately priced. If you want good customer service and pretty good pizza this is a great place for a quick bite.
Service was better than expected. Food was cooked ideally. Prices were reasonable. To top it off, when check was presented a small "travel gift' (cookies and lollipops) were included along with wishes for safe travel THAT WENT SEVERAL STEPS BEYOND EXPECTED SERVICE.
So good pie must start with the proper foundation, the crust. It can't be too thick, had to be seasoned just a little, and by no means can it be greasy. Mario's pies start with a great foundation, and they don't stop there. The best place I have ever had pizza is Brasil's in Cherry Grove Beach SC. I will have to say Mario's pie is a close second place and that is saying a lot. Trust me...your next pizza order needs to go to Mario's. Best pie in Rock City!
super friendly staff - prompt service & great food
Ordered dinner to be delivered to our hotel (8 minutes away). It took two hours for it to be delivered. Once we received our order the salads were incorrect, the lasagna was not hot, and we didn’t get napkins, utensils, salt, pepper, or a copy of our receipt. We’re in a hotel. Do you think our room has utensils & napkins just laying around????A little common sense goes a long way people!
Tried it for the first time tonight because we were celebrating my mom's birthday and she wanted to try something new. We all have to say it was absolutely delicious and loved everyrhing except the nasty salad. Was not edible at all. The lettuce was all white and nasty. It was like the ends of the lettuce. We will definitely be back but will not order the salad.
Sara was out server and she made us feel like family. The food was excellent as always. We left full, happy, and with a bag of goodies for tomorrow!
We visited this establishment on Sunday around 5:00 pm.We sat down and a wait person promptly came over to take our drink orders. We scanned the menu and by the time we got our drinks we werecready to order. My husband ordered Eggplant Parmesan with a greek salad and a order of calamari. He was told they were out of Eggplant Parm. So while he was deciding on what else to select I ordered the Chicken Marsala with a greek salad and a large cheese pizza to try. The husband decided on a chicken Parmesan sandwhich. She went in to place the order and came back to let me know they were out of chicken marsala. At that point we should have got up to leave but wanting to support local business instead of a chain we stayed. I ended up ordering the Chicken Parmesan dinner. She went to put my order in and came back to let us jnow they were out of the makings for a greek salad so offered us the regular one instead. When the calamari came she told my husband he was lucky because he had gotten the ladt order as they had run out if that as well. He wascso overwhelmed he didn't realuze that they had not put the hot peppers in. Half wasy thru he realized and called a different wait person over and asked if they were supposed to be hot peppers in the dish. He was told that normally the do serve them with hot peppers but were out of them them. That was the last straw. We ate our food and left. There is no way they make the sauce and dough fresh everyday as stated on their website because it was absolutely horrible. One of the worst experiences ever. The man sitting behind me who was just hanging out came over to explain they had been busy the night before and the was the reason they were out of everything. Aren't most good restaurants busy. What a lame excuse. The wait staff told us itvwas because they were short on supplies.
