I got the hibatchi shrimp with mushroom and shrimp tempura roll. This was my first time trying sushi, but I wasn’t impressed. That isn’t effecting my review though. I may just not be a sushi person. The shrimp sauce was the worst I’ve ever had. It tastes like weird ranch. The rice didn’t have a fried rice flavor- it tasted like plain white rice. Mushrooms were hardly cooked. There was no flavor or hibatchi taste on the shrimp. They do give you large portions. It’s too much to pay for dry bland food.
It was hot, it was fast, it was fresh. Was it a gourmet experience? No! Was it better than any fast food place on cherry road? Yeah. Good for a quick bite.
We desperately needed good Asian takeout after an emotional funeral and this sounded promising. Sadly, not. The miso soup was bland; soup for two served in one container. We had to both eat from that as we were in a hotel with no dishes. Gyoza was just okay. Chicken fried rice, average. Chicken and shrimp hibachi with white rice, meh. Shrimp sauce was basically ranch dressing with something red to make it pink; more palatable when I stirred in all the Wasabi. Each sauce cost another $1.00. Not worth it. Nothing was delicious nor worth a return.
This place is in horrible condition, I ordered Katsu and the chicken was all hard and tasteless. I also ordered half rice and half noodles they gave me more rice and it was burned up, no salt added and all hard. The place doesn’t have air conditioner because its way to hot inside there, definitely I’ll never be back????
Ordered the Maki Special, to go... got home... and I am now eating sushi with rice, cucumbers, and fish as the tiniest ingredient... the tip of my chop stick to show the size of the slivers of salmon they put in there. I used to eat here alot while in college. Won't be making a special trip any longer if that's the cheap bulls+!t they're gonna pull on my sushi.
I got take out on valentines night. I watched this awesome family complete all the orders in a timely and professional manner. The sushi here is also probably the best in rock hill, def would recommend.
I really want to like this place, I always have a good experience with customer service- but there's something about the food. I get food poisoning almost every time I eat here. The sushi tasted fine when I ate it, but I was getting sick almost immediately after and my stomach has had me unwell all day. Not sure if it's the sauce, sushi, rice, or what- but it causes me to feel sick almost every time. ?
I only order 3 things here so here's my review on tbose. I love the sweet potato sushi, shrimp tempura, and spicy tuna roll. Delish.
I love this place. The food is good. And the place is mostly not busy. BUT the prices are high. And when you look at the menu online it shows different prices that the actual menu. But other than that. Very good place
Must have changed cooks. Not fresh at all. Food was dried out. Had the trio everything was burnt veggies, chicken and shrimp. Rice was dried out and tasteless. Usually get the sushi. But afraid to try now. Have had much better from here. But not this time.
