Wanted to try out the burgers because I usually enjoy just there concretes and shakes. The burger was okay at best, nothing better or worsts than your typical fast food burger spots. They use 100% beef and cooked fresh and pressed. The problem I have is if you don't uses enough beef before you press it will just create a thin crispy patty which i don't really find enjoyable. Also, the shoe string French fry's get cold very fast and feels like your eating crumbs or left over small fries that are typically found at the bottom of your traditional fast food fry holders. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive they were actively cleaning after any customer left the restaurant. Overall the restaurant is good if your in a pinch for food but me personally I will be sticking to just shakes and concretes.
Went tonight for frozen custard and got cheap half melted ice cream! This location had already messed food up during previous visits and refused to serve us one night after we waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes. When it was finally our turn she said they were closed. Totally rude! It was 9:01. They were supposed to be open until at least 10.
California Burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had, not even exaggerating. My one complaint is they need a new straw vendor. If you even look at the straw funny, it will split in half.
A lot of people don’t give restaurants the credit they deserve , or take into consideration that they’re short staffed. But I would just like to say this location has days where they are short staffed then they are full staffed and I just want to say no matter what I can tell that they’re giving it they’re all.
Place is GREAT! We take the long way into town from Chester so my gal can get some frozen custard and both times I've had a steak burger were memorable. Very friendly and courteous staff. (Last Friday)
So much better than steak n shake. Burgers are hot and fresh, fries are salty and delicious and the frozen custard is just the right amount of decadence to top off the night but not leave you feeling over full. Definitely worth it.
Came in at 930 because we couldn’t order through mobile because apparently they turn off mobile orders at 9pm when they close at 11pm. Didn’t have hot dogs, didn’t have veggie burgers. We ordered our food and paid for it and then we were told they were out of lettuce wraps. It wasn’t a staffing issue because 5 people were working. Maybe a good idea to have at least a little amount of customer service. If you don’t want people coming in after 9pm, change your hours and lock the door. I’d rather sit in the super long drive through in Indian land than dealWith this place. 10/10 do not recommend.
Sloppy to say the least! Never have anything you order here lately! This place used to be great, I guess cause it was new and looking to get business! Looks like steak and shake will have a turn now! Get it together Freddy’s!
We have been coming here for 2 years and today was the worst experience and it is a disappointed. We Just ordered 2 single patty burgers and both of them were ice cold. For a place that prides themselves on cooking food fresh… this is a huge disappointment. Also giving them 2 stars because their ice cream is never properly frozen and melts in minutes.
Tea was sweet. Food was good and hot. The drive-thru cashier was obviously busy, but doing a great job! 11/22/21 3:45pm cashier needs a raise!
