Friendly service but the kitchen was slow about getting the food out

Do not eat at this funky a*s Denny’s. The server that we had was very **** rude. She came to the table and never greeted us she started off by saying “what do y’all want to drink? When it was time to bring out the food she messed up the order and never apologized. She snatched up the plate and went back to her book to see what was ordered. She brought the food back that was originally ordered and walked off. Again, she never apologized. She never asked what sauces or condiments were needed. Every time we needed something or had something to say she would run off and not come back to our table for at least 10mins at a time. My tea was down to ice and never asked if we wanted a refill. We asked to speak to the manager who offered to pay for our meals. The waitress then decided to come to the table while we were LEAVING to bring a fresh tea and sauces. Dumb a*s. Please avoid the overweight waitress with the short cut and a bun. She doesn’t need to work in anyone’s place of business.
Last night we stopped to eat and there was one girl Stephanie I believe and she was running the entire front all by herself and I tell you what this girl is on point!!! She had at least 10 tables and carried out all the food and checked everyone out at their register. She also sat new ones down at tables all while taking excellent care of each table. She ran it all and did an amazing job in my opinion! Good job girl I hope you enjoy your tip you deserved it.
East coast to west coast.. more Denny's than I want to remember but I absolutely have to send a big THANK YOU to Taira for making this dinner flawless.. that little girl didn't stop moving the entire time we were eating dinner and amazed us by always seeming to remember her orders and special requests, while checking on other tables! Our food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious!! If in Rock Hill, SC stop by this Flying J just for the Denny's. ?
Extremely busy and yet some of the best service ever. The waitresses were so nice to the kids and attentive. We will be back soon!!!!
The older lady and younger girl working there are very polite and were awesome making sure we got taken care of. Very understaffed so the wait was accordingly but again, this was NOT their nor the cooks fault!!All of you Keith's and Karen's below me are pathetic taking your anger out on awesome people. Go eat somewhere else. You guys keep doing what you're doing Denny's!!
Very disappointed service was bad server got hateful when we decided to leave food was taking forever we watched people come in after us and get served their food before we even got our appetizer we try to be understanding because of short staffing all over the US but if you are going to work in customer service do your job and communicate with your guests do smart off and say I’m not the cook all you had to do is say “I’m sorry I don’t know what’s taking so long” the cook says it’s coming I was a server for many years and communicating is the biggest most important roll in good service and you failed at that you may not be the cook but it is your tip stay on the cook het the job done and deliver to your tables with a smile and be apologetic even if it’s not your fault you didn’t have to wait until you thought we couldn’t hear you to start running your mouth that was very unprofessional I will not mention a name because that wouldn’t be right and makes me no better of a person that’s you you know what you said you know the circumstances and you know you didn’t have to talk to us like that I hope you improve and learn how to communicate with your customers so that you can prosper there is good money to be made as a server
Waited over 40 minutes on two hamburgers. Never received my food. Went to pay for my drink's and appetizer The waiters said I got not to worry so I left as soon as I cleared the door she started saying something.The terrible thing is I go out of my way to find a way to give good reviews but by far worse experience every at Denny's. I normally spend at least two hundred dollars a month at Denny's but not anymore I'm done. I will eat a cold sandwich out of the truck stop before I spend another dime in a Denny's.
