Always great service and food
It took forever to get my food. I was tired from traveling, didn’t really feel like waiting almost an hour for food. The waitress was sweet but way over worked.
Front of house staff was amazing during our visit. We were informed by the host that our server may take a little bit longer because of being short staffed. Our server was incredibly friendly and kind and even made a recommendation for a place for us to stay. Our food took over 40 minutes to come out of the kitchen, and tasted okay, but we felt a little rushed as our food came out 10 minutes before the restaurant closed, and we arrived well over an hour before close. If you aren't in a big hurry I highly recommend eating here.
Arrived at Rock Hill Cracker Barrel at about 7:45pm on 5/09/2022. I asked st register about placing a go go order. That person said they didn’t do it but to check with hostess. When I asked her, she referred back to original person if they took the order. He said he didn’t. I felt like I wasn’t supposed to be there. Finally hostess brought out a waitress who stood there while the hostess took my order. Then told me it would be about 25 minutes. Okay….So, paid and picked up food. Took back to hotel room. No butter for biscuits. No utensils for eating. Wasn’t able to go back. Ate without the butter. Had utensils in my car. Green beans looked like they were scraped from bottom of pan. Not appealing at all. Not pleased. This was store #CB0160. Server 1820887. Cashier #1940874. Order #185946.
♡Beans and cornbread ❤️ great customer service ?
Friendly service and pretty good food. My husband liked the Sunday Chicken even though there's no gravy. The only thing I would say is to keep up with the cleanliness of the silverware.
This was my first experience at this particular Cracker Barrel. Is was well stocked in the General Store and the food was hot and delicious. Their salads are huge and stuffed with all of the good things ..not just a bowl of iceberg lettuce with dressing that is partially wilted from being made and sitting in a bowl. The hot food was hot and very tasty as well as looking appetizing. Give it a try...I promise you will not walk away hungry! $-$$.
Went to this location last night with my family. They were out of most items which was understandable it was a Saturday night around 7. I ordered chicken & dumplings and it was very plain and cold. The chicken was slimy and very unappetizing. I’m pregnant and I took maybe two bites and couldn’t stomach any more. My mother n law ordered a steak cooked to well done and had to have it sent back twice. Our waitress Julia was very stressed out and rudely asked how we wanted our checks split as if ready for us to leave. I don’t think I will be back to this location. Nobody had a good meal and our drinks stayed empty most of the time. Even gave us unsweetened tea as a refill. the only good thing about this place is the gift shop. Wouldn’t recommend this location.
We went for breakfast at this Cracker Barrel and ordered a breakfast sampler. I asked the waiter to substitute French toast for the pancakes as I have done every time we visit which is around 2x per week. I requested just 1 peace of French toast as that is all I would eat. The waiter immediately said no we can not substitute anything any more you will have to have it like it is on the menu. I even said I would pay for the difference and the answer from the waiter is no we will not substitute anything anymore, that is our policy and they will not bend the rules. So Cracker Barrel basically is saying if you want to eat here you have to eat exactly what is on their menu or don't come to their restaurant. We will not be back to Cracker Barrel due to their strict NO SUBSTITUTIONS RULE. Bob Evans and all other restaurants will allow you to order what you want and if it is an up charge from what they have they will accommodate your request.BY THE WAY, I text my experience to Cracker Barrel customer complaint department and have not received any correspondence. It is now very apparent that they mean what they say.Good luck with your new policy we will see how well your new campaign goes over. " Have it our way or don't bother eating here"
Food & service are always great! We had requested two waters to go when we were getting ready to leave. After waiting a few minutes, we figured the waitress got tied up with something, so my husband took care of the check, & I went to the restroom. As I was getting ready to leave, the cashier stopped me and asked if my husband & I had requested the cups of water---& handed them to me!
