Our waiter was great. This restaurant is located in the south. The large bowl of grits that I ordered came out the consistency of a thin soup. They sloshed out of the bowl onto the table. Grits are a southern staple if you can't get anything right get the grits right. I requested they take them back and bring me some hash browns instead. The waiter apologized and obliged the request. I thought their decision to send grits out in that state was a poor one indeed. That shouldn't have been given to a customer.

I guess it's my fault for going to another chain restaurant with a staff that could care less. 6 people in our section, Sunday afternoon. 23 minutes for the first refill and an additional 15 minutes for the only other refill. We were asked how things were when we were leaving. One of my guests asked for a biscuit when we sit down, never arrived. Shrimp did not come with sauce, Steakhouse burger was simple patty, cheese, two slices of bacon, that's all. Large party of 6 (the other 6 people in this section) arrived 7 minutes after we did and received their food 12 minutes before us. It is utterly ridiculous the level of ineptitude that customers have to settle with. Small portions, unmotivated staff, higher prices equals more profit! I had to add this revision. I think it is completely our server. Just asked her for a dozen biscuits to go. She asked if we wanted 12! Then she brought us 2. She asked if we wanted to go boxes, then came back and asked us again.

This Bob Evans was an absolutely incredible experience. The staff was friendly and concise, leading us to our booth and almost immediately servicing the table.Everything that was ordered was accurate and delicious. I am a particular fan of their Blue Ribbon Bacon appetizer and their home fries.I should add further that, in a world with terrible hygiene, their men’s bathroom was astoundingly clean and inoffensive.

We asked to sit at a different table so we could see our friends when they came in. A young man named Joe who was cleaning tables refused spend 30 seconds to clean the table we asked for. He told us coldly that we should go sit down and wait for five minutes. We waited, then sat down, and I asked for a manager. We told her about the man’s passive aggressive behavior and she apologized. We then saw that the tables the young man was cleaning were the ones he was serving. As I looked at the kitchen area the young man was obviously talking about us, as heads turned in our direction. The female server we had was great and responsive to our needs. We’ve spent many years dining at Bob Evans and enjoyed the food and service. This was the first time we were treated to a subtle rudeness by anyone there. This man named Joe needs some significant retraining.

Had an awesome pot roast meal for dinner. So tender and it melts in your mouth. With real mashed potatoes and gravy served with carrots. And they have a nice strong southern sweet tea. If you have a chance to have a pleasant dinner ya might want to try Bob Evans. Our waitress was so nice and pleasant. We will be back maybe for breakfast. Give it a try prices are just right. They also give veterans a discount.

We go there to eat every now and again. Always decent food at a very decent price. And great service as well.

Bob Evans in Rock Hill, SC on John Ross Parkway--I was charged twice for the same online order about 3 weeks ago. I spoke to the first manager and she told me to come and show her the charges. So I had to go back to the restaurant. She said that all she had to do is have payroll to refund the money back to my account. Three weeks later. I still have not received my refund. I called yesterday and the manager had me on hold for 15 minutes until I hung up. I called back and asked the person that answered to speak to a manager and then I was on hold for another 5 minutes until I hung up again. Now today, I am going to Bob Evans and will not leave until this issue is resolved!!! I'm on my way... HOWEVER THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD!!!

Attempted to eat dinner here two weeks ago. Seemed like wait staff wanted to seat us (restaurant was BARELY half full), but management said 10m wait then changed it to 20min wait. I asked if we could be seated and relax with soft drinks while we wait, but was told no (again by manager). Reason for delays was "kitchen is swamped with to-go orders". We walked out.Returned to try again for lunch today... EXACT same scenario... restaurant was more than half empty, but a long lineup in lobby. Waited over 10min to be told that it would be 20min before we would be seated... Here's the catch... NO ONE in front of us was seated! They all eventually left in frustration (as did we).Clearly they prioritize to-go over in house dining. Clearly they are short staffed (Panera around the corner and was fully staffed). These are MANAGEMENT / FRANCHISEE issues, and it's damaging to the corporate brand.FWIW, Panera was excellent.

Although the service was a bit long of a wait the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Personally I thank our server, Jess, who even jumped in the kitchen to get our food out faster! Highly recommend & I will be back!

For a Saturday morning and having been open for only 40 minutes and maybe a dozen customers, was very disappointing. We were seated right away, waited about 10 minutes with no acknowledgement by a server/waitress. It was only when we decided to leave that a nice young lady offered to take our drink order. Going to be awhile before I stop in as a passerby again.
