Very good buffet and value, ok atmosphere although a little crowded, liked the fried chicken although I would recommend one tray for dark meat and one tray for white meat, it would be easier, service was great from Penny, disappointed on the limited desserts , I was hoping for cherry or blueberry cobbler, there was apple though, brownies were good, looking forward to trying it again , can we get breakfast later on Saturday? We drive 40 minutes to get there. Note that only tea is included with buffet, soft drinks are not. thank you!
Visited today for lunch and food was okay. My rating is primarily due to the service we received. When I came in the front cashier was not friendly and actually threw my receipt on the counter for me to sign. 1st strike!! We got to the table and got our food and our drinks still were not there. After.a few minutes, the same cashier asked what drinks we wanted and proceeded to bring them over. Strike#2, the waitress/cashier never came back to our table to refill our drinks at all, we had to ask another waitress, who apologized. I didn't see the waitress again until we were walking out and she watched us walk out without saying a word!! Final strike and final visit!
Use to be a great place. Now everything is water down. For the price i might as well go on back to Shane's BBQ where they actually have sauces. Mac and cheese plain water down, hamburger had no seasoning, bbq water down. Salad bar still very big and great but basically that's it. Corn bread taste dull, rolls not even warm or anything.
The food is delicious and two of my friends are specifically addicted to the fried chicken. I personally am not a big fan of fried chicken but there's is delicious even to somebody who's not a fan. I've eaten there several times and I've never really been disappointed. There seems to be plenty to choose from and of course they have a salad bar and a dessert bar in addition to the regular Buffet. I think I also noticed soft serve ice cream. I've always eaten my fill, so I haven't been to the desert bar.
Great tasting food. I had both lunch and dinner on the same day and was very pleased with each visit.
Was fantastic !! Country cooking at its best for an all you can eat place. Service was great too. Good selection to choose from... yet not overwhelming. Pleasant staff. Desserts are your basic selection. The ice cream is really good!! They have strawberry and banana in addition to chocolate and vanilla. Yummy!! Prices are affordable. They do offer a senior discount.
We visited Big Boy's for a large family dinner. We were a party of 17 people, in total. The staff was very attentive, very clean place, reasonable prices, and great buffet. Very impressed with this place. I am not in Rock Hill often, but I know where I will eat next time life takes me out that way. Big Boy's Country Kitchen gets my official stamp of approval!
I was very impressed with this place from the food all the way down to the very outstanding waitress named Amber. She was so friendly and was always checking to make sure that everything was okay. I will definitely be going back. ?
A very nice country place to eat. I came here for the first time with my family and absolutely loved. It seemed to me, one waitress was doing all of the work and I wish I knew her name because she deserves a raise. I will definitely be back but hopefully, they have a few more attentive waitresses.
Would have giving a bigger rating as the food was pretty good but found a hair in my pears. When it was brought to the waitress attention she took the bowl and never offered a apology or anything. I paid over $50 for 2 adults and a salad togo. I even left a good tip. But to not at least acknowledge what happened put a bad taste in my mouth.
