The good things that I can say is the food was hot and the frosty and fries were good. We ordered the bacon burger combo meals with the free frostys because we purchasd the free frosty tags. The cashier was courteous but while he was giving us cups to use the thousand flavor fountain machine he did not inform us that the fountain machine only had zero sodas and drinks, we had to inform him that the fountain machine only had zero drinks, he then said that they did have the non zero drinks behind the counter. The bourbon burger was not good it has bourbon sauce on it, the burger is not made with bourbon it should be called bourbon sauce burger and it has no bourbon taste. It also has fried onion straws on it which I do not like that. Why not just have fried onions or just raw onions?
This restaurant is in a great location in Orangeburg, SC. There are a few problems that need to be address. 01. Sad to say this company is experiencing a shortage in workers and that is hurt the image of the company. Which , I understand there is a main demand for domestic labor. 5 workers and 1 manager, who was in a dire need of an assistant manager. 02. There was a 20 minutes wait to receive our food and the workers move slowly and the cashier appeared to not know how to fill our orders correctly. The poor manage had to move from the back to running the register. 03. The company may benefit from allowed the workers to come in 2 hours before the store opens to train them properly. 04. The Dining Room needed attending to right away. 05. There was a line inside and on the outside Drive Thur. I really wish the company would take note of these things and take the necessary action to improve this restaurant. It may help to pay the workers more money. There are 03 major colleges in Orangeburg and quite sure if the students are pay well they will work. Since the company is concerned about getting a return on their money it would be well worth the investment.
Doors locked, so not access to restrooms. While taking order you could hear the employees cutting up. The wait was 45 mins in the drive though. Food was fine.
Not the greatest visit to a Wendy's. Food came out fast and ok. But the cleanliness of the place at the time, was not inviting to sit and eat. Bathrooms most likely not cleaned all day.
Frozen food! The fries tasted like they sat for hours. The nuggets were so cold they were hard and one oder only had 3 nuggets. The burger with no cheese had no bacon. The vanilla frosty machine wasn't working - the worker told us. They were out of drink carriers, gave us 2 straws for 4 drinks, no ketchup when we asked for an extra handful. However we were all given bbq. We weren't expecting much being fast food but warm food would have been nice. So irritated after such a long drive with hungry kids. Its like they gave us all the food they didn't feel like cleaning up at the end of the night. Don't go here unless you like surprises and cold nasty food.
DO NOT EAT HERE!! We got food poisoning! Stopped here on the way home from a vacation. I’m not expecting fine dining by any means, but we waited nearly 20 minutes in the drive-thru. Order wasn’t even correct. Drive a little further down the road and pick a different option.
Anytime I come here for breakfast after PT, I'm always met with a rude attitude. Whoever runs the morning shift needs proper training on how to talk to customers.But this morning, Roughly around 8:30am I stopped by the drive thru because I really love the potato wedges, but no one came to take my order. I was waiting 5 or so minutes before I decided to cancel my online order and get something from Bojangles' instead. If y'all don't want to serve your customers then consider closing this location down. Ridiculous.
Love Wendy's food, often buy the 4 for 4 chicken combo with a strawberry lemonade, or the pecan salad, but the service is ALWAYS HORRIBLE at the exit 145 location in Orangeburg SC. No matter what time of day you go or if you go to the drive thru or inside, expect to stay at a minimum of 30 minutes. Yesterday, after waiting in the drive thru line for 20 minutes, I finally left after Making it to the microphone to order and sitting there for about 8 more minutes without any offer from the inside to take my order. I don't know what the issue was as I didn't wait any longer to find out. Just about every experience that I have had at that location has been a bad one.
Worst experience at a restaurant... ever! Family and I walked into an empty dining room (January 27, 2022) and were acknowledged by a man sweeping behind the counter. He said someone would be with us in a minute, but we were ignored by three females standing near the drive-thru window for probably 4-5 minutes. These three saw us but continued their conversation and one of them dropped the "n" word. After this, I walked closer to the counter and said thank you for ignoring us and we walked out without being served. The employees continued to stare at us through the drive-thru window as we left.Worst experience ever...this place should not be allowed to operate as a Wendys due to the inexcusable behavior and offensive language by its employees. I believe these employees would be highly bothered if someone used that language directed at them. Stay away from this place.
Food was OK as good as Wendy's gets. Service was good and Correct.
