We have never experienced this before! When we first arrived and got to the hostess stand, a waitress came to the hostess and said “don’t sit anyone else in my section or they will be waiting for a long time”We obviously asked not to sit in her section, but the hostess said that was where she needed to seat us. The waitress NEVER came to our table! My husband and I along with our 4 children got the salad bar only, went to the bar for our drinks, and had to ask the hostess for our check. No one apologized and no one tried to make it right .
I stopped in here at this location for dinner after settling in to a motel nearby. Most time’s I’m pretty happy with a meal from a Ruby Tuesday . This time not so much. I ordered the Rib Dinner and when it arrived the bake potato was cold and hard, the ribs were dry and not very tender I was surprised at this because I always order the rib dinner from Ruby Tuesday because it’s pretty darn good but not this time. The salad bar was great , the service was excellent and our waiter Andrew was super nice. The picture I posted is of the meal I ordered and you can clearly see I didn’t eat much of it.I can’t in good conscious recommend this location unless your looking just to have the salad bar. My wife said I should have complained about the meal but after 8 1/2 hours of driving I just wanted to hit the sack and sleep and anyways I filled up on the salad bar which like I said was pretty darn good.
I realize everywhere is short staffed right now but good grief. They were late to open, slow to seat us as the second people there. No silverware, slow drinks. The waitress wasn't dressed for work, and had to finish getting ready. Then all food was brought out aside from one entree that we were told was a delay because "someone else ordered it too." All members of our party were done eating for over 20 minutes when I politely asked the waitress to please scratch my entree and give us the check. She became upset and said "he's boxing it up, I don't know what you want me to do." Well, I had already stated what I wanted her to do, which was cancel it. She then yelled across the dining room for her manager to "come deal with this table." The manager asked her what was wrong to which the pair hashed out the entire thing loudly a few feet from out table, that the chef doesn't like her and bumps her orders, that people didn't show up today, and this happens every Sunday. The manager then took the 2 steps to get to us and asked what the problem was, we again said, everybody else is done eating and in the car, we just want the check. The manager tells the waitress to use her fifty percent off to which she refuses and tells us that equals her paying for our food. Which if that is your policy, shame on Ruby Tuesday. Our whole meal should have been covered after that drama filled ordeal and your staff definitely need some professionalism training.
The food was great. The Host name Janae was so sweet smiled loved her energy I will be back. she gave a introduction making me want to go back i’ll come everyday if she working
We were on our way between Travelers Rest, SC and Georgia and decided to stop here for lunch. Always love Ruby Tuesday’s salad bar. Ashley was our waitress today. She was phenomenal. Personable, professional, efficient and is clearly a very hard worker. We were very impressed with her and feel that she should be commended and recognized!Thank you Ashley!!
The wait was 30 minutes to be seated which was expected on a Sunday afternoon. We were surprised that almost 50% of the restaurant was vacant. We were not expecting anything spectacular as we are accustomed to the subpar service in this area but to our surprise we received wonderful service. Our server Ashlee was very attentive to our needs and the other 7 tables that she was serving. This server should be in a management position or trainer at a minimum . Ashlee checked on our table at least every 10 minutes but she was not pushy. Drinks and food were great. I would definitely request this server if I visited this establishment again.
Waited 20 min for a table, then waited 31 minutes after we were seated and no one ever came by our table. I know everyone is short staffed but on the way out several staff members just standing chatting by hostess stand. I’m sure they’re great if you get served, just make sure to allocate plenty of time and don’t be hungry when you get there.
Waited 30 minutes to get a table then ordered drinks. Waited another 20 minutes and realized the place was way understaffed and stressed out. I saw all tables waiting so I left went to Cracker Barrel. We were turned away because of employee shortages. Avoid this exit for food
I ordered lightly seasoned salmon but asked our server( Kendra) to please tell the person who prepared it (TZ)to add a lot of extra seasoning. It was delicious and seasoned perfectly, almost blackened, which is the way I like it. Kendra gave exceptional service. Love their salad bar too.
Menus were 'sticky' from some red stuff. Food took > 1/2 hr to arrive. Food was ok, some obviously had been sitting for awhile. The salad bar was pretty sad looking, many items depleted.
