One of Orangeburg’s finest … or should I say ghetto fast food restaurants in the burg. Drive thru order taker tonight was rude as hell ! Tried to argue with me and tell me what I ordered and what I KNOW I said. I ordered AND KNOW I said “A five piece tender meal with a sweet tea and mashed potatoes and gravy.” The order taker said “it’s not a combo.” Me being confused because I always get this; I said “so why is it on the menu still as being available as a combo? I have been getting it for years.” She then rudely says “Next time you need to say tenders.” I said, “I SAID TENDERS!!” She then says “You said 5 piece!“ I then go to the window and tell the manager who may have been the one that took my order in the first place and of course it seemed to get brushed off. I worked fast food for years so I know managers usually don’t do anything to the people employees because they are all friends. You do not argue with a customer. The customer is always right. Get out of customer service if you don’t like people and want to argue with them !
We just got chicken strips they were so hard we couldn't eat them im sure they were left over from lunch ..we would have returned them if we went not so far away ...
The reason for the low rating is the long line at the drive up because the order in is closed. Working with a minimum staff and only drive through means wait times for an order can be 45 minutes or longer as it was for us.No choice if you want spicy chicken pieces. Popeye's is it.
Out of Fish at the time I visited. The chicken sandwich was amazing as usual. It never disappoints.
Too damm slow you better have hours to wait on your food !! They move like snails no hurry what so ever the food was good kinda pricey but what the hell ain't since the last election!! That was my 1st & last time ordering food from the ORANGEBURG pop eyes just saying my time is valuable I don't have 60 minutes to wait in a damm line to get what people call fast food
Workers always have bad attitudes. And they have a habit of constantly interrupting the customer while ordering in drive thru. Then they’ll get upset with the customer for verifying the order before driving to the window; the order will still be wrong at the window. So I don’t go to Popeyes in orangeburg much. Surprised they have a high rating because the customer service is always horrible.
Popeyes is always good. Always a wait but usually always good. Highly recommend but get ready to wait a little bit.
Went out door dashing and had to go thru the drive thru to pick up the order. Waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes then they didn't have it ready because they lost the slip and had to wait longer. I've eaten here before myself and the food is fantastic but the service definitely leaves something to be desired. I'm just happy the customer I picked up for was understanding.
Ordered food and the order was not right. Tried to order mac and cheese, but they only had one cup left at 7 pm and the restaurant closes at 10 pm. ? I think some of the employees don't care. The food was not good. I will not order from this location ever again. I might try a different location ? ?
They have a new blackberry creme pie that is very good when it's available. I usually tend to order the best and biscuit which is really good and very very affordable!
