Good food, friendly staff and quick service.
Came in and ordered 3 simple tacos. Just cheese meat and lettuce. It takes 25 minutes to get them and they are cold. I eat one and ask if they can remake the other 2. It took 3 different waiters for them to understand I just wanted 2 new hot tacos. They take them away and apparently just ignore it and bring me my bill . I had to leave still very hungry and fuming that it was impossible to just get food
How hard is it not to leave your customer's glass empty for 15+minutes? Approximately very hard. Meadeocore food and terriable service with an attitude. Spend your hard ear ed dollars elsewhere

First time here. Great food. I'll definitely be going again. Note this is not a San Jose chain restaurant. It is it's own establishment
The food was good, service good, atmosphere good! All in all, a pleasant experience! I would recommend dining there!
I walked in and several waiters were sitting at a table in the back where they could see the door. One of them motioned for me to sit down. I waited and no one came. After a couple of minutes, I got up and got 2 menus (I was waiting for someone). No one came to the table until my guest arrived. The food was 2nd rate and no refills on tea were offered. The bill was a little over $36. Never checked on us, needless to say, that was my 1st trip and also my last trip to El San Jose in Orangeburg.
Place is and forever will be the best Mexican restaurant in town idc what anybody says!Feels like family greeting me when I walk in…Hector and everybody else here are always professional , kind , courteous & attentive!Come here enough that they know what I’m going to order from the entree to my beer (aunque no más tecate ?)… lolActually as I’m typing this I’m thinking i may ride up there in a bit for lunch!
