You can't go wrong with the Strawberry Sundae with wet walnuts.
Great double burger with cheese! French fries were OK. Only drive through. Not too long.
This was supposed to be gizarss only... it's only liver. They are burnt and crumb.The hamburger was flattened out, and had stuff on it. The ONLY thing that was good was the fried okra. Very disappointed considering this was my first & last time eating there.
I like the variety of foods they have there plus some unique items they're known for such as a " Curly Burger" which is a burger topped with Pimento Cheese and " Slaw Dogs" which is a hot dog with Cole Slaw on top. The food & the prices are good. People there are nice.They also have shakes & various desserts. You've got to try the "Hot Fudge Cake" which is a piece of chocolate cake cut in half with a square of vanilla ice cream put between the layers topped with hot fudge & whipped cream! Yum! Sometimes I just like to go there instead of the big national franchises. I like the idea of supporting our local eateries. There can be a wait sometimes depending on the day of the week & the time of day you go as many people like to eat there too so we have to try & be patient.
If you have ever ate at a dairy o in North Carolina you would see this is at best a bad representation of this restaurant chain. Their bbq is smaller and does not even use the same style sauce, they do not offer chicken sandwiches, the fries are just bad. As I travel the area a lot, I was excited that we had a dairyo in the area only to find out the only thing the same was the name. If you accrual like dairyo , I recommend not eating at this one.
Gizzard were fresh made and hot. The hamburger was hot also. Great service , great food. Clean imside.
This place is always the a staple when I visit my hometown of Orangeburg, SC!We got a gizzards dinner with fried okra slaw, and fries, a few hotdogs, 3 sundaes, and a burger and fries--and spent a little over 40 bucks! The line was wrapped around the building, since it was lunch hour, but the wait was reasonable!The customer service was very accommodating, especially since my mom added items at the window!This place is truly a gem! ??
The lines were long, but let me tell you... it was definitely worth it. I got the double cheeseburger and added bacon, a side of fries and some shrimp. I only ate half the burger and fries and was full. But omg it was delicious. It was worth the drive from my hometown.
Go to another restaurant. Very slow service. Very rude on the phone you order. Food is average. Safe your money
Take out packaged nicely with a tray of fries. The place is always busy. That's a pretty good burger. I'm really excited about the strawberry shortcake Sunday!
