The table I was seated at wasn"t cleaned, table was sticky. Ordered eggs over easy and they came over hard and the wasn't hot and when I realized it, I didn't see my waitress until see came with my bill. I didn't see a manager around either This store needs some retraining
As usual, the restaurant, store and bathroom were clean. The food was good and the server was friendly and helpful.We were on the final five hours of a fifteen hour drive and ready to be home. We thought we were in for a good, quick meal before returning to the road.There was a supposed to be a twenty minute wait, which we understood, but ended up being there for over two hours. There didn't seem to be enough staff and some of the staff seemed a little stressed. We waited 40 minutes for seating, then had to wait another 5 minutes for our seats because the menus were not ready. We were shorted a silverware set, sugar substitutes, napkins and we are still waiting for our cornbread. . .
Lovely people Amy the customer service, Gabrielle waitress ,Isabella cashier I hope that is that girls name... are some of the loveliest people very helpful and polite fast and willing to help you relax for a moment and consider your need to unwind to destress to continue on your way by chatting about anything to let you feel safe. Anyway the food was hot and the service was amazing we did have to wait a moment for our food but it was about food safety and they weren't willing to send out cold food to us and that is what we all want is for the food to be right. So in that respect food doesn't mean fast it means right Temps and clean environment and that's what we received.
Our waiter was awesome, but, dirty tables that staff just looked at and walked away. I understand being short staffed right now, but, come on! And the bathroom needed attention..
SAVE YOUR MONEY: I am shocked that the food quality of our food was not up to Crackers level. Meat as tough as can be, baked potatoes we where amazed that you can make these like rocks and the worst was we did not get what we actually ordered for our take out. We stayed at a hotel behind this restaurant and it was amazing. Save your money as the ol Cracker needs a new chef.
Came for dinner. Seemed like a newer Cracker Barrel. Very clean. But the service was slow and the food was way over cooked. Returned part of the food to be remade and was still over cooked.
Ok restaurant when you are driving through. Lots of interesting gewgaw type merchandise to peruse as you are waiting to be seated. Took awhile as not enough help!!

I eat here 2-3 times a week, for now. Service seems to be getting worse and worse though. Tonight it was 20 minutes before a waiter got to the table and then only after waiting on folks who arrived after me. And then it was 30 more minutes before the food came. That's not the first time I've waited that long on food there in recent memory. The food is good when you finally get it. Just bring a book. It will keep you busy while you wait and it might make a tasty appetizer if you're hungry. To top it off, when I got to the cashier, they had almost completely messed up the take-out order of the customer in front of me.Overcooked and missing food. Management appears not to be paying much attention to how things are going. Else, you'd think they would correct this downward tend.Update: The chaos continued on a subsequent visit. Waited 45 minutes to be seated, only to observe several empty tables on the way to my spot. Then the table was nasty. Then waited 15 minutes for a waitress come to my table. At least she was nice. My best guess is they are understaffed. Maybe they should close a dining room so they can run a smaller area well.
Very busy night, probably short handed but we had to wait 1/2 hour for a table, then 15 minutes for a waitress to take our order, then 20 minutes to receive it, then 20 minutes for the check. They were out of the best thing on their menu, fresh broccoli. Had to ask our waitress 3 times for lemon to put on our fish. never got butter, had to get ketchup off another table. Friday Fried cod batter was too heavy, turnip greens disappointed.
