Customer service is lacking to say the least. The staff ignored me and everyone else (4 other groups waiting) in line for a good 5 minutes. There was a staff person working on the front steam table yet she didn't even acknowledge anyone standing in the ordering line. The staff member that finally came to take my order wasn't very friendly. Just the basics. No hello. No thank you. No basic manners. Thankfully the food was hot, fresh, and delicious so three thumbs up there but it doesn't make up for no customer service skills!!
Have been here 3 times and they have yet to get our order right. It takes a long time to get your order and then its wrong. Today was no different. We ordered 2 Bo's chicken deluxe sandwiches fries and drinks. My sandwich cane with out lettuce or tomatoe. When I took it back to get it the guy who was preparing the food started arguing with me that it did even with the sandwich in front of him. As I was walking away hr was cursing at me. These people are playing around behind the counter and don't care about their jobs. As we were leaving I told 2 other couples about our experience and reccomend they not go in.
The lady that took our order did not have a name tag on and was not very friendly when she took our order. We were going to order the 12 pc family meal to take advantage of your promotion to get a $10 gas card, but the lady said this restaurant was out of cards so we ordered the 8 pc family meal instead. When we got our meal the family size seasoned fries and the family size dirty rice were both half full so when I took them back to the counter to show the same lady that took our order, she looked at it and made a comment to the other workers about it being half full. Then she filled the container to the appropriate amount. Instead of giving me more fries she took the bag and threw the fries in the trash and told one of the workers to give me another fry and she walked away. I didn’t receive an apology instead she started joking with the workers about me wanting the appropriate amount of fries and they laughed. I looked in the bag of new fries and it was about the same amount as the previous bag. When we started eating the chicken it was hard and overcooked to the point that the crust was separating from the skin on the chicken, the dirty rice was cold, the fries were dried out and overcooked and the tea wasn’t sweet. We would usually talk to a manager about these issues with our food, but we noticed that the lady that had previously taken our order and was unprofessional was wearing a brown top and telling the other workers what to do so we assumed that she was probably the manager. We decided to leave, get some edible food from a better restaurant and voice our highly dissatisfied experience through the bolistens survey. We were also highly dissatisfied with men and women restrooms being out soap, out of tissue and out of paper towels even after we told the lady and not until other guests complained was something done about it. I would not recommend this Bojangles to anyone and I would appreciate it if the store manager would contact me to give me a refund.
I want the best restaurant experiences for Orangeburg county. I was told I was unable to order chicken until after 11am. Then waited an absurd amount of time along with another guest for Boberry biscuits after money was exchanged.Be careful of the dangerously slippery, greasy floor. The drink area needs disinfecting and a thorough clean from top to bottom, front to back. The drive thru window exterior was nasty like the lack of professional service. An employee said she "hated customers like her" without even trying to over stand that I was indeed only assisting My local community. I was given a merchant's copy receipt upon polite repeated, refund requests.
Husband loves Bojangles. But we live in Florida without one close. So this was a good outing. Minus one star for cleanliness and long waits.
This Bojangles is way better than the one across town. The chicken is always hot and fresh. I see where they have the coleslaw marked as to how long ago its been made. The biscuits are always fresh. Everything just be tasting good!!!! It just seems way more cleaner than the other one, too. Keep up the great work.
Some say that disney is the happiest place on earth. I would argue that the bojangles in orangeburg, sc is the happiest place on earth. 1000/10 sandwiches. The worst bojangles sandwich wipes the floor with the best popeyes sandwich. Employees remind me of my lunch lady hittin me w the “whatchu want suga” 100/10
There are two Bojangles within a 5 mi radius. The one out on 601 at the 26 intersection is by far the worst when it comes to customer service, attentiveness to customers orders, and an overall lack of professionalism. We usually go to the Bojangles that is in town. Which actually is in a very urban setting with vagrants and shady actors around. But the staff are incredible and efficient. Kind and professional. But the one out on 601 is TRASH when it comes to service. On God! I WILL never go there again. (And this is not my first horrible experience there, but definitely my LAST!)
Don't ever try to go to this establishment to sit down to eat after 8pm. They will have everything inside broken down and the main door locked and when you use the other door they will tell you the dining room closes at 9 so its carryout.
Good food. Friendly. But order was wrong. Main complaint was the FILTHY bathroom! Overflowing trash. Grungy mirror. Slimey floor, Everthing a mess. I spoke kindly to the gal waiting on me and said the mens bathroom needed attention. I was there for 30 minutes and nobody did anything about it. 4 staff just stood around goofing off 10 am. Few customers. Party ti.e
