My husband and tried out this place for lunch and were surprised at how big it was inside. This is a great place to bring kids since they have an arcade and cornhole. There's a full bar for the adults too. They have an ATM inside that does not charge a fee so you can pay in cash and avoid a credit card fee tacked onto your bill. They also offer meeting space. The menu is great and includes sushi. We had the Jack Sparrow and Comfort burgers with onion rings and fries - the burgers were excellent The service was great - we started out with Destiny, but she had to leave and we ended up with Sidnie. There's plenty of parking. TV's are everywhere inside. We'll definitely be back.
What a fun place to eat, especially if you are into sports. Not only are there about 50 TVs lining the walls, there is stadium seating with tables facing a huge TV, plus a TV in the bathroom so you don't miss a single play. The food is barroom standard. We had the smothered chicken and a captain Jack burger, both were good.
The food was decent but the wait was long and the service subpar and not worth the price. We waited an hour to get our food after being seated. Live music was really good though. We were also very surprised by the amount of kids there. Guess a lot of people like it but just not our cup of tea.
For starters the restaurant has a cool design. This would be a great place to hang out with friends. I would love to be there on a Sunday to watch football. Lots of tvs. They have a room with 3 corn whole games setup in it along with some other entertainment. The apps were slightly better then the main courses. My people loved the sushi, while I had the pretzel which was awesome. I had the chicken finger platter which was good, I just didn't love the dipping sauces (mustard or bbq) but that was a bit of a personal preference.
Cool atmosphere with games and TVs galore. It wasn’t busy at all but took an hour and a half to get seated due to staffing/kitchen issues I assume — won’t hold that against them as it could’ve just been that night. Once we got seated the food came out relatively quick and was pretty good. I’d say overall it was a 3.5 but I’ll round up to a 4
We visited the Grumpy Monk twice while vacationing in North Myrtle Beach. Our waitress was attentive and provided great service. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Had a wait time both days but it was well worth the wait.
We are locals who live in North Myrtle Beach all year.Ate here Thursday - June 30th, 2022 at 2pm.Place was quiet and we got a table immediately. Service was quick and friendly. Our server was hit the perfect level of attentiveness.We split a veggie sushi - loved it.I had the Nola with onion rings. It was cooked perfectly. My wife’s meal was also perfectly done.There is a nice little area with corn hole games. The restaurant is “divided” into 3 ish section. Plenty of tv’s for sports. Very clean and cold ac.Great variety on the menu. Very good experience- will definitely be back.
Best dinner of my life. I went here with my parents and personally got the french (onion..?) Sammich. Our server was superb and so was the chips and queso we ordered as an appetizer, the different chips were surprisingly fun to eat. When our food came (20 mins) we all ate in silence, witch is a very rare occurrence for my family (we all sat eating with that 'im in heaven' look). Happy to say we left happy and full that night! We met up with relatives here for an evening dinner. We were quickly seated as a table of six, and the service was pretty good, with an attentive waitress and a trainee. We ordered a variety of foods and everyone was satisified. Fried pickles were good, wings were good, burgers were good, my seafood was good and the three who ordered the large salads were impressed. The salads came in a huge glass bowl with plenty of meat on them. I was a bit disappointed that my dinner salad arrived at the same time as my dinner, instead of before it.The restaurant was decorated with American style stuff including motorcycles. The dining area was decently clean, but the bathrooms were really gross.
We went two nights in a row during our family vacation! Stephanie was our server the first night. She was so sweet and was an excellent server. Chris was our server the second night and he was an excellent server as well. We have been going to Myrtle Beach for years and we had never been to this restaurant but I am so glad we did. This was one of the best restaurants we've been to in Myrtle Beach! The food was delicious and the live music was great. Our family has a new spot every time we go to the beach now!! Great job guys!!
