Had the Blacken Chicken and it was very good. There were 9 of us in our party. Service was good however, parties of 6 ot more will automatically be charged 20% gratuity.
Absolutely LOVE this place! This is our second time here, we went a few years ago when we last visited Myrtle, and today as well. Our waitress, Candice, was so sweet and kind. She thought of everything we could've needed and more to make our meal amazing. The food is incredible and noticeably fresh. This is a MUST visit in Myrtle beach!! When I can come back 2 years later and get the same experience as before, that's how you know it's a keeper. Thanks for a great meal!
This place is a hidden gem. We ate here our last night in NMB and it was the best place all week. The food was amazing. I had the Parmesan grouper and my wife had the filet mignon. The service from Britney was incredible
Excellent dining experience! We had great service from Candice... so sweet and helpful. The salad and rolls were perfect...homemade blue cheese dressing was delicious. The parmesan grouper was an excellent choice and I would order it again. The balsamic salmon and shrimp/scallops were equally scrumptious. Overall wonderful dining experience and we will be back!
The staff was awesome. Dim lighting but was really nice. It's a cute place. I will come again the next time I m in town! Steak was done right and my shrimp and scallops were so good.
Went to this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend of the family. Arrived at the restaurant a few minutes after they opened and we were immediately seated. Server did a good job with our large party, the food was good, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant had a vibe like an old Steak & Ale restaurant, which was not what we expected for a restaurant in a beach town.
This place is absolutely amazing! Everything was beyond what we expected. There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children) and we were all amazed at how great our food was. Between the 8 of us we ordered ribeye, filet mignon, kids burgers, prime rib and the shrimp and scallop scampi also with an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms. Everything was cooked to perfection. My filet mignon was so juicy and tender, the homemade fries were good. The salads were fresh and crisp. Everyone finished their entrees. No complaints at all! The atmosphere was great, smooth jazz type music playing, family friendly, and our server was the best. Always making sure our drinks were full, they never got more than 3/4 full. I would recommend this place to everyone!
Crab cakes are my favorite dish to get here. The wife got the grouper parm which is good, but the topping always slides off which is odd. Sides are ok, red potatoes weren’t cooked enough bit green beans were good.
About a year ago we had one of our best meals ever at the Sea Merchants. So when my brother-in-law came to visit he offered to take me there. We both ordered ribeye steak. The steak was absolutely the worst I have ever eaten. It tasted old and dry with hard gristle. There was none of the soft fat usually in the Ribeye. Everything else that came with the meal was delicious. Creamy baked potatoes, wonderful green beans, good salad, and plenty of hot bread accompanied the steak. Since my brother-in-law was paying, I didn't want to say anything to our dear waitress. My brother-in-law didn't want to say anything at the restaurant and he waited until later to write an email to the owner. Well, it's been over two weeks and the owner hasn't responded. What a shame! I wouldn't be writing this had the owner responded.
6 stars if possible. Outstanding food and service (Matt). Went for beef but had to try the oyster sampler platter - loved it! Upgraded appetizer to a meal for additional charge. Greatly appreciated. Husband had the ribeye- cooked to perfection. Red potatoes, green beans and salad with house dressing. We'll be back.
