This was our last night in NMB and what a great find this was. It appears to be a local hangout as everyone appeared to know each other OR they were just that friendly. We chose to sit at the bar to watch the hockey playoff game but we actually could have sat anywhere and watched it. There were TVs everywhere. Nice sports bar atmosphere. The bartender was Maddie and she made great suggestions of local craft beers and food options. We had tacos which were excellent. Also we had the cheeseburger sliders which were also good….but I really recommend the tacos!!!
Good beer selection. About a dozen beers on tap. Bartender was very attentive and waitress was good as well. We we did not eat, just a couple of rounds of drinks.
We had heard that Oscar’s had great food and a Pittsburgh vibe since the owners are from there. Since I’m from the ‘Burgh as well, we stopped by for lunch today. Since I was undecided between the fish and chips, and the pastrami sandwich, I asked our server. He said NOT to order the fish since they haven’t been able to get a good supplier for fish and we wouldn’t be happy. I’m so glad I asked because the pastrami sandwich was excellent. It could have had a bit more meat stacked on it, but was delicious. My husband got the traditional pastrami with kraut. Mine was made with Cole slaw on it instead. We also had fries and onion rings - both good. There is a full bar. Folks seat themselves. There are TV’s everywhere with fun ChiveTV or sports shows playing. There is all kinds of memorabilia everywhere inside - not just Pittsburgh stuff. There’s also plenty of seating. We’ll definitely be back!
Great wings and beer! Super friendly waitstaff!
Great service, great food and awesome sports bar atmosphere ????
This was my first time visiting this restaurant with my husband. He ordered the Thai chili and Cajun dry/wet rub chicken wings and hand-cut fries which he really enjoyed a lot. I ordered the grilled chicken salad which was good. I really enjoyed the chicken however I would've preferred the lettuce to have been romaine instead of iceberg. Overall we would go back again. Go Steelers!
Provided our team a fantastic team meal while in town! Great food, VERY reasonable (and cheap) prices, and excellent service that was VERY immediate and responsive. Great spot in town with lots of local flavor and memorabilia.
This is the 3rd time I have ate at this place and each time it gets worse and worse.Don't order carryout because all you will get will be greasy cold fries or onion rings.Disgusting.I order fish and chips. That was not fish.It may have been some cheap parts of fish. I took one bite and spit out. There was no fish in it and the breading was salty and soggy. If you like an oily dinner you will like this.I couldn't even drown the taste out with Tatar sauce because they dont give you any.Club looked nice but forgot the mayo and again the fries are greasyI would of attached pictures but all dumped in bottom of trash can. Best part of order was the chocolate cake which we ate for dinner since we were hungry3 strikes and your out
Ok food.Taco salad was mostly big chunks of lettuce. Happy hour drinks were priced good. Wear a coat, freezing inside. Ladies don't go in bathroom before you eat it smells like sewage. It stays with you? My lettuce salad costs more than a big Italian sub/onion rings.??
Great food . We got burgers and wings. My wife was surprised that they had gluten-free buns. A lot of their food is made in-house. The waitress Stacy was amazing.
