I know people love this place for the atmosphere, the bar and because they think this is real Irish food, it's not. I read a review before I tried this place, it was a bad review complaining about the food having no flavor, I still wanted to try the corned beef, I'm here to confirm it had no flavor, it was absolutely flavorless and overpriced. Of course with me picking up my order from the bar I felt obligated to leave some amount of tip, I got 1 open face sandwich with fries and paid a little over 26.The worst part is my wife and I split the half sandwich, I'm going to call it that because it looked like half a sandwich missing the other piece of bread. Anyways, my wife got the worst case of food poisoning of her life, we later, meaning late tonight found out it was caused from seafood which we did not order, we had the sandwich, that was the only meal in the past 36 hours. At the ER she was tested and had trace amounts of seafood, wherever the food was stored it had came into contact with some sort of seafood causing my wife to almost die. The hospital helped us file complaint with the food safety office however I felt necessary to post here where I seen the bad review in hopes someone else like me sees it and decideds not to try it.Good luck if you fail to see this.
Fantastic service, amazing foodIf you like fried shrimp, definitely try the shrimp basket or the shrimp tacos. The sauce they put on is awesome. The Drunken Jack Apple Smash drink was so good. The open faced Reuben is of course deliciousAlso equally delicious, were the potato skins.
Sat down outside in a back ocean area of the boulevard with a table of eight. The menu offered many great choices of Irish Fare. Ordered a Guinness and a couple of apps. Service was great. Our table involved the whole menu of choices. The food was outrageously good. The down side was the seaside insects that infiltrated our table. The server was fully aware. Nothing could be done. It made for an aggravating atmosphere. Dodging ingesting the flies or whatever they were proved a challenge. We ate as quickly as we could still enjoying the great tasting dinner. Advice would be to eat inside the restaurant given the opportunity because the cook really has the menu cornered for Irish dishes. We later visited the pub enjoying wonderful bar service from servers. Who knew how to make Great pints of ale. Will definitely go back next year. If you are staying at crescent shores condominiums, this is a great option for adult beverages and great Irish traditional fare
Great place.. outdoor patio beach view great! Great drinks and food! Our server was Lisa… fantastic!!!! Loved her! Walking distance from where we stayed at Best Western.
We were excited to try another local restaurant not far from our house. The bonus here is this place is on the beach. We sat outside even though it was quite breezy out. The hostess was pleasant and so was the rest of the staff. The manager even came by and chatted with us. We ordered fish and chips and the Reuben. The food was okay. The fish was like a huge greasy ball and the sandwich served open-faces was not expected. The view was great. Ample parking if you can find it since it’s shared with beach goers. Large inside restaurant and full bar too.
Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Also love the atmosphere and location. Will definitely be back!
We just arrived in town and this was our first restaurant. I ordered Irish Donkey drink, Clam chowder soup, whiskey bbq wings with side order of onion rings. The soup was spot on. My wife and kids ordered classic cheeseburgers and grilled chicken sandwich. We had no leftovers. We love the atmosphere with decorations and music. Definitely comeback place.
We were looking for burgers and wings for dinner during our stay in North Myrtle Beach. Molly Darcy's was conveniently a block away. We were doing carry-out. The wings were great. The blackened beef tips were so-so. The steak sandwich is chunks of steak on a bun. I was expecting a steak patty. I wouldn't get it again. The burger was ok.
Good atmosphere and food. Staff was friendly and courteous. Good experience for an Irish sports bar.
Good place, cozy environment. Pub burger was good but could use a sauce. A bbq sauce would be excellent or a homemade sauce. Just a little dryer than I prefer. Most of the food looked excellent.
