We had a group of 9 people. Appetizers came out quickly and service was very good. Crab cakes , Ribs , Fish n Chips were a few of our entrees and were all very good. Kristen was our waitress and she was attentive and a pleasure!!
Visited with family on a Friday night after a boat tour. There was a great band playing. Fun atmosphere. Service was excellent. Waitress apologized for the slow service but I thought food came out quicker than most places, especially on a busy evening. Food was delicious, but very much overpriced. $16 for 2 tacos is a bit much. Other than prices, this place was great!
Kristen is the best waitress there and Debbie is a great manager as well
We stopped in for lunch and found out just how cool this place is. We saw three different areas for bands with a big stage out on the edge of the waterway and two smaller inside. There are also three bars so no matter where you sit you have direct access to drinks and great music. We ordered the Chicken Avocado Club and the Crispy Cod Sandwich. The entrees were delivered to our table in 10-15 minutes and were hot and very ample servings with fries. They were both very tasty. Our server, Whitney, was fantastic and because of her, we will return.
Great location. We sat outside and listened to live music from Shawn Bilton Band and enjoyed an entertaining evening with a firepit and on the water. Food was good and served in a timely manner. Our waitress Katie was a doll and very kind and prompt. Good crowd of people. Would definitely go again when we are back in town.
Went with the group to enjoy a social happy hour and listen to some music. What a fantastic evening. The happy hour menu is affordable and we tried many if the items and all were tasty like the peel and eat shrimp, calamari and mussel's. And the drinks were good too! The service was on point and the staff were kind and courteous. The music was great and by 7pm the place was packed. People having a good time, enjoying the atmosphere and of course soaking in the waterway views .... I hear the view of the sunset is gorgeous from there... nest time we will stay longer and enjoy that ! Looking forwards to our next event there. And a huge shout out to Jason... our seating location ( not that there is a bad one there by any means) was #awesome Have not been to Local on the Water? Would so recommend this place for a family dinner, friends get together social even a date night kinda evening out.
We came here last August and it was totally different-- different menu completely-- we had a great time and the food, drinks and service were great! I think their chef must have left or maybe it changed ownership. The menu is small now. The bar drinks arrived in 8oz plastic cups, water in plastic as well. Dinner came in melamine bowls for everyone's meal. Last year the drinks were bigger and there was glassware and china. My Caesar dinner salad looked like a side salad and I don't know when the salmon was cooked as it was cold. The salad was $10 and $8 extra for the salmon. The smoked salmon dip was terrible. We were looking forward to a great meal like we had the last time and were very disappointed!! Average to below average food that has the same high prices as before.
Went there July 3. Very disappointed. Food was bland and overpriced. The band was worth the visit. If we go back it will only be for drinks. The menu at boardwalk billy's has more of a selection n reasonably priced.
Found this dolphin tour that allows toddlers. They had a large cabin to escape the heat. The captain and crew were great. They also had drinks and snacks to purchase on board. You can bring a cooler and your own if you please. There was a restroom also. We took the afternoon trip and the weather was great. We all loved the dolphins. So much fun with the kids. Yall enjoy.
All i can say is…WOW! Best Food, Best Drinks, BEST ATMOSPHERE in all of Myrtle Beach!! Perfect night out for ALL ages! I have been all over the country and the BBQ Ribs at Local on The Water were the best I have had…Fell right off the bone! This spot is a 11/10 and is a MUST when visiting Myrtle Beach!
