I gave this place a shot because of the Google reviews and they are all on point. I thought it was pretty good for the money. To be a an all you can eat the sushi is decent quality for the $26 (when we went for dinner). The organization of ordering is easy. You can also order á la cart. There is plenty to choose from. Staff was very friendly and courteous. I would recommend stopping by and giving them a try.
If you're looking for sushi and/or related cuisine, this is your destination! All you care to eat, for one price! Everything I had was Delicious! You won't be disappointed!
Excellent service! Food was all you can eat and definitely worth the price. Our server Olivia was super friendly, very attentive. Time from order to receiving food was quick. Highly recommend. Does not compare to the All you can eat sushi restaurants in the Northeast
Excellent sushi. Excellent service. I can't give this place enough stars. The go to sushi spot in Horry County.
It’s ok. I liked the sushi and rangoons but but the steak quality was horrible (tasted like bland jerky or what I’d imagine canned dog food to be) and the yokisoba noodles were overcooked and just bad. Fried rice wasn’t horrible. Sandy did a great job waiting the table. For the price I would expect much better. I’d say maybe stick to the sushi and rangoons. Richmond Roll was good! It just was a real lazy vibe coming in like the boss was away and it was time just to hang out.
We are both sushi lovers. We both have traveled all over the world for many years. We really enjoy eating out. We eat sushi regularly in every country we have been to but this place is the worst we have ever been to. They give you huge amount of rice covered with very tiny pieces of fish. The appetizers are microscopic size, almost transparent. Everything is lack of taste. There is no sashimi. Their “Sashimi salad”should be called “Missing sashimi- salad” and the place should be called “All- you- CANNOT”-eat. What is more the place is dirty. There were food remnants on the floor! It is also freezing cold inside. We spoke to the manager, but she didn’t make any afford to fix the situation. We paid, went out and swore to never come back even if we have to live without sushi!!!!
The family tried to go here for lunch on a Friday. The hours on the door said that they opened at 11am. It was 11:15am and the doors were still locked. We called the number on the door but no one answered. We left at 11:30am and the door was still locked. Three other cars of people were in the parking lot when we showed up. They also left after we waited awhile. Out of courtesy, I won't leave a 1 star review even though it is disappointing that you weren't open 30 minutes after the posted time and would not answer the phone.
Pretty happy with our visit. It was lunch on a Friday and it was about half full. The service was excellent. I would say that the rolls were fresh and tasty. As far as sushi to rice ratio, it was a little above average. The cuts were not small nor large. I forget what rolls I got because I ordered four or five. I go back and forth between this location and the south location, I have had good and back experiences at both —- I guess, win some and lose some.
Kings sushi was very good! We love sushi and search for places to grab some good rolls. This place definitely doesn't disappoint! The rolls were beautiful. The squid salad and seaweed salad were great. Egg drop soup was okay (just not my favorite, nbd). Crab ragoons had great filling in them! Everything was Very fresh. And it was quite busy (always a good give away for a good find!). Highly suggest going there. It was slightly chilly so I'd take a sweatshirt with you! It was so good I didn't get many pictures! We were too busy eating!
The food was AMAZING even phenomenal. We had the rangoos, shrimp tempura, hibachi shrimp, spicy and regular California rolls, calamari, hibachi steak and vegetables, tempura shrimp, and ice cream! It was absolutely amazing. I didn’t get pictures of anymore of it because we were so in the moment with the food. The steak was tender and juicy, the shrimp was so full of flavor, and I could just go on and on. From the sauces to the food it was all amazing. Our server was the very sweet Taylor and she was attentive, kind, and explained everything with precision. PLEASE do yourself a favor and stop by this place.
