We totally wish we'd found this place before our last night in town. From the moment we walked in the door, it was like we were at a family dinner with them. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.We started with the calamari - which was the freshest tasting I've ever had - and some hushpuppies (the cinnamon butter was a twist I'd never had and very good). For meals, we chose the pick three meal with shrimp, fish, and clam strips and the Captains Platter - all was very good but the fish was a whole other level of good. Closed the meal out by splitting some peach cobbler and it didn't disappoint. Next time we're in the area, we will be coming here - probably a couple times.
Inexpensive. Good food, quickly. Very hospitable staff.
Calamari was some of the best I've had and the hushpuppies and dip were really good. House chips were delicious. Red snapper and clam chowder was just okay. The spicy sauce with the fish tacos were incredibly tasty (and very spicy!) The wait staff were extremely nice and very accommodating for our large group. I'd come back here and try different fish.
From the moment we walked through the door the entire team was so accommodating with our large party of 11. The food was spectacular but the service was what made this so special. By the time we left we felt like part of the Goodfellows family. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
As a family of three when eating at good fellas it cost us around $75. We got two shrimp plates and a house. Very expensive, sub pair food. At least the fries were good.
Do not be fooled by Goodfellas humble looks, there is indeed some great food and great service at this dine in restaurant.This was our first time to Goodfellas. Our family was in search of a place that prepared some good fish and they did not disappoint!Wait staff friendly, accurate and attentive.Food delivered hot and fresh.We came in about an our before closing and never did we feel rushed to finish up.Note to kitchen staff, chicken tenders were a tad on the dry side.Overall a great experience.
Food was ok. I was disappointed after all the reviews. Severs were great! Shrimp was lightly breaded, average taste. I did not care for the flounder.
We have frequented this restaurant several times and are never disappointed! The servers are always super kind and helpful. Food is delicious from the fish to the soup to the shrimp it’s all been great! The restaurant is definitely a down to earth place with reasonable prices and one you will not be disappointed with. Casual dining but real Myrtle Beach food at its finest!
Our favorite in Myrtle Beach. not fancy just good food fast! The staff is amazing. You think you’d known them for years! We’ve tried so many restaurants but this one never disappoints. Great lunch prices too!
Just a normal (not fancy) good restaurant with some of the best tasting seafood at fair prices. The people that work there have a lot of fun with customers : watch out for the lady with the fake ketchup bottle (shh: don't tell those who are dining with you). The decor (look closely) is unique (old signs and figurines, perpetual motion art work, etc). If you want sea food buffett and lots of crab legs this is not the place for you. If you want a good meal for a fair price, don't miss Goodfellas.
