We visited here on our vacation. Going later in the evening and being empty we figured service wouldn’t be too bad. As soon as the waitress walked up to get our drink order she acted annoyed we were even there. After waiting over an hour for our food it comes out completely wrong. After getting shrimp tacos instead of a chicken quesadilla, the waitress just proceeded to complain about the staff instead of fixing the situation. Then when she delivered the bill….she stated I should be glad the cooks messed up my order. It saved me 3.00 on my bill and griped about how they can never make any money there. Maybe trying up’ing your customer service ??♀️ ?.
Burgers were burnt on edges and dry.The hushpuppies were onion-y but have good honey butter.Nachoes were good.Service was good and the live music was good (6pm-9pm).
We come to this place every visit every year. My son really wanted some Wings and he really likes them from Boardwalk Beach Cafe. This experience was bad from the time the lady answered the phone. She was rude from the moment she picked up the phone but my son wanted Wings so I just proceeded. I should have went with my gut and hung up. $42 for to go Wings! Well $41.93 to be exact. Never again. ⁰
Excellent lunch — twice! Jerk chicken is a standout. Chef substituted it into the tacos, it was delicious. Salad was big and fresh, with toasted sunflower seeds for extra flavor. My husband had the fish sandwich both times, it was on hero sized bread and the fries were crispy and salty. Great service both times, lovely outdoor deck.
Very friendly staff. Food wasn’t amazing but it was still good. The staff, atmosphere and view makes up for any shortcomings there.
It was very relaxing sitting by the ocean and pier for dinner. We sat on the deck and even though it rained we stayed dry because of the over head roof. The food was very good and the service was great! Everyone was extremely friendly!
Despite our bad encounter at oceans 3500 next door this place was a saving grace for the night. We were immediately seated and served. Food was delicious the staff was super friendly. Not super expensive. Absolutely recommend this place and we definitely will be back.
This is on the beach at base of the Cherry Grove fishing pier. Awesome location with outside deck on the beach. You could sit under cover with shade or out in the sun. There is also indoor seating if you don't want the awesome view. We ate at a couple other restaurants on the beach in that area and this was by far the best! Our waitress, Kaydee was very attentive, timely and got all our orders correct. The menu is short, but it has very good options. 2 of us got the fish tacos, which were amazing! We got the fish blackened and it had a delicious black bean salsa in the taco. They came with guacamole & sour cream. I got a flounder sandwich and it was also very good. The fillets were small, BUT they put 4 fillets on my sandwich so it was a lot of fish. The breading was light and very good. The french fries were wonderful (I'm a sucker for a good fry!). One of us got the fried shrimp platter. The hushpuppies, cole slaw, & fries all good, but the shrimp weren't that great. He got a lot of shrimp, but they had an odd flavor. We think they were fried in the same oil as some fish so that it left a bit of a fishy flavor on the shrimp. I had a frozen pina colada which was delicious! They had a walk-up window where people from the beach could come up to order a frozen drink. We wish we had found this place sooner because it was delicious!
Although under staffed, the bartender did what she had to do! Wait the bar and tables. Thank God she didn't have to prepare the food, which was good! Thank God for the cook!? Walked away grateful that they survived the pandemic and my food was good when I got it!Need to clean windows, but again , under staffed!
Only one e person working the night I went there. New Years night. She was extremely busy, and still had a very positive attitude and great customer service. The food was great. Had the Philly Cheesesteak. I recommend it.
