It was okay, the ribs were dry like they had been sitting around. All of the tables were dirty. I'm sure there short-staffed, but we saw three staff members standing around and singing. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. This was our first time at the bar b Que house in North Myrtle Beach, SC. We have regularly gone to the one in Surfside and it is much better.
This place is tasty, quick service, and reasonable priced. Brisket and hush puppies were great & was told the chicken wrap was excellent. Sauces at the table besides the house sauce seemed too liquid, but still gets 5 stars for the rest.
Ribs were very good. One of us wanted fried chicken, but was told it would be 30 minutes. 30 minutes????? Don’t bother with the alternative baked chicken. Baked mac n chees ok. Baked beans ok. Chips delicious. Hush puppies not so good compared with other places. Brisket was dry. Service was prompt and courteous. I probably try elsewhere before returning.
I so wanted brisket and they didn’t have any! How does that happen? That is the reason I gave them 4 stars. We ordered a pork sandwich and a pork platter with fries and baked beans. Everything was delicious including the sweet sauce we got. There were other sauce choices, but we don’t like spicy. There’s plenty of parking and it’s easy to get in and out of the restaurant. You can dine inside with table service. You can also order online and pick up inside or through the drive-through, or just go through the drive-through. This place has won lots of awards and many of them were displayed inside. We’ll be back when they have brisket!
We ordered online and picked up through the drive-thru. They texted us when the food would be ready and it was ready 15 minutes early. It was very good barbecue, good portions. My husband really enjoyed his brisket sandwich. I really liked my ribs, but I found it strange that they didn't remove the backing membrane which was unusual to me. There were the only barbecue in the area close to our hotel that had corn nuggets, which I love so we were certain to order from them over any of the other places. They were excellent. We ordered lunch, but since we liked it so much I think that we will have dinner there tomorrow night.
I placed my order with someone at their sister property on the phone who promptly told me that I would receive 6 bones of ribs for my 3rd meat on their meal. I picked up my order and brought it back to the condo, but instead, I received 3 bones. I called twice to ask them to fix their error. Both people on the phone refused to do anything, as I would have chosen something else if they would have given me the correct information. Make sure that you know what you are getting, and they ought to train their employees a little better. I'll be doing a charge back, as I did not receive what I was told I would receive. I would look elsewhere if I were you. The portion sizes are very small.
The food we had was not good. The chicken wings dry and tasteless. The brisket to me was mushy and had an odd taste. The hush puppies were hard. Refried? Throw sauce on anything and you can't distinguish what you're eating. The sweet potato fries saved my lunch.Sorry guys. I used to like this place. Oh,and there was an odor throughout the place.
Best BBQ I've had. My whole family loved it. Everything was delicious. The smoked wings and the brisket were amazing. The chicken wrap is so good too. Our server Rocky was awesome, so friendly, and very accommodating.
The restaurant was clean and spacious. A pleasant atmosphere with good music playing in the background (not loudly). The menu had many items to choose from. I chose the Big Daddy meal with two meat and 2 sides. The price was very reasonable! When I got my plate! I was grinning like a horse with a mouth full of bees ???! I dug in and said "oh my God" like I was in church, each time I tasted foods on my plate ??! My sister was lost for words, eating and smiling like the Joker,??? Food and the server was great! Going back Again??
The ribs were tender, so good that I didn’t even use the sauce , it just didn’t need it!!! Don’t get the Mac and cheese, the okra is much better lol Service was excellent!! Hush puppies with the cinnamon butter at the end perfect ending!
