We came back to Charleston for vacation. We used to love this place in Mount Pleasant years ago. Very disappointing. Sticky table and dirty sticky menus, I wanted to leave immediately but my family was starving from getting up at 1am for a flight here. Waited over 50 minutes for our food to come out luke warm dry 'nuggets.' Fries were room temperature also. Only one other table occupied in restaurant and bar had some people. Never asked how food was, had to ask for extra sauce to even have any flavor to food. I started to tell waitress how disappointed we were with the food and she said "Yeah its like this sometimes." This place needs to close.
Food was average at best. Wait time- terrible! Please don’t give me the excuse of “we are short staffed”. We ordered the potato/fry appetizer. It was missing the bacon. Twine of the wings were over cooked. We had to ask for refills. We had to ask for our check. After 20 minutes of waiting and asking a second time. This dining experience was not worth the two hours we waited in total.
I'm only giving 2 stars because our server, Mckenzie was amazing. The entire rest of our experience was horrible. We called ahead and were quoted 30-45 mins. We arrived at 8pm. Hostess again said 30-45 mins. After waiting 50 mins I approached the, now new, hostess. I had noticed that several tables had left but no new groups had been seated. The dining room wasn't even half full. The new hostess informed me we had been misquoted, she could not tell me when we would be seated. We eventually were seated, about 20 mins later, after asking to speak with a manager. Our 1st choice appetizer, chicken bacon ranch rolls", they didnt have available. Our 2nd choice, cheeseburger rolls, they were out of. I am embarrassed for them at the size of their wings. I will provide a picture. That is 15 wings! The cheese covered wedges were so over cooked they were almost inedible- see attached picture. My 11 year old who eats anything wouldnt even eat the flatbread pizza. The wings were also overcooked. This is the one meal a week I go off of my diet, my "cheat meal" and it was a HUGE disappointment. Staff shortage was not an issue. There were plenty of them walking around. It seemed as if the wait staff were refusing to take tables. I've never seen anything like it in my life.
A 530 visit. Not busy at all. 4 of us. Waitress tried to take order without writing it down. Nothing was right. Nothing was tasty. Nothing was warm. No unsweetened tea. Wait for it: no silverware. We had to use plastic. Ticket time in excess of 40 minutes. Couldn’t find the waitress to pay. Bar staff unresponsive to request for silverware. This is bad as it gets. We honestly will never go back. Like Burger King, Wild Wings days are behind them. Time to close up shop, open up a Wild Wing Shoes or t-shirts. Or sell to Owners who care. Wild Wing, I think I hate ya’. (People around us were equally bummed).
Went in for a late lunch got a waitress that just seemed bothered that she had to wait on us. We ordered appetizers and wings. She came back telling us one of the appetizers they did not have ok no big so we changed 40 mins later no foods we asked she told us its in the oven. It will be right out 30 mins later as still no food. I can not tell no don't visit this location. She had no words nothing. And this is how our wings came out
I went here for my mom's birthday , after waiting for about 5 minutes to be seated in a place that was not busy at all. Our waitress finally seats ; she takes our order but doesn't get it right or bring everything we ordered. The wings were fried so hard you couldn't eat them . We sent them back, and they were still fried too hard. Maybe it was an off day for the staff, but I'm not going back. This place used to be the most popular spot for wings. The quality of food and service has really gone down.
Worst chicken I've ever tried. I ordered French five wings and chips instead of fries for to go. The chips were okay but the chicken was over fried, too dry and just basically not edible. So disappointing.
Drinks were good. The spinach dip was cold in the middle. We asked our waiter about our food after waiting 2 hours, he said someone took one of our sides and they are remaking it. We waited a bit longer and decided we didn't want the food again. Miraculously, our food was ready. We declined and paid for our drinks. We ordered a burger and a Salad which shouldn't take 2 hours to make.
Took a while for food to come out with an empty dinning area. Over cooked wings. Undercooked soggy chips. Sauces were good. There’s a lot of other options to get wings. I would go somewhere else.
The very worst experience I've ever had here. I didn't mind the wait or service but after 2 hours of waiting we got wings that were burned and not sauced hardly at all. I was very polite in sending them back and would have gladly waited for the re-order. (I got the 25 wing sampler). However, the manager, I assume, came out and told me he tasted them and they were perfect. I explained that they were burned and no sauce visible (could not tell one wing from another with 5 different sauces.) He then said that the flavors are "baked in". Unless y'all have changed the way you cook your wings then this seemed ridiculous to me. I told him that I did not want the re-order, we paid for what we had gotten and left. If this is the way you all conduct business then you are better off shutting down.
