They used to be much better! They lack in management and while they pride themselves on delivery, they often get the orders wrong and do not answer the phone or reply to contact when smoothies are missing. The Dorchester Rd location has better service, although their delivery system is flawed as well. I've lost 5 smoothies in 3 months and have not been reimbursed for a single one. ✌?
I love Tropical Smoothie cafe typically, but this one was sub par, I was so sad. My husband ordered his favorite Baja chicken and wanted a soda but they said they don’t have anything to drink except smoothies. That was a shock! He asked if he could even have a water and they seemed confused. Not even water?? This was the first time we’ve ever experienced this.They did figure out how to get him some water and I ordered the hummus veggie, my go to wrap. They were out of kale slaw, which is my favorite menu item but they were also out of all the other sides except chips! So disappointing.We got our food and neither of our wraps had beans. Which seems to be what makes them so good because they were not tasty at all. Especially my veggie wrap, because I just ended up eating guac, hummus and some rice. I really wanted some sort of protein so we asked if I could get a side of chicken. The manager said they couldn’t because of policy which I respect. But then the only other option meant giving me an entirely new wrap and wasting the first one. I wish I had been told about the beans and I would have ordered something else.Corporate really needs to help this location out. We won’t be back, sadly, and we live right up the street.
I came back to give this location a try and I regret it ! The workers are in there playing around. My banana is VERY soft and my smoothie is VERY icy there is no flavor. I thought about going back in to ask for my money back but I didn’t think it’s worth even going back into the party the employees in the back making the smoothies were having. I recommend the west ashley location to anyone NOT THIS LOCATION.
Very upset about how you make the wraps.... I've always order my Buffalo chicken wrap without veggies but today forgot to ask for it that way... Smh I'm so upset to find out that I need to always cut the veggies out cause when they make it with the veggies they fill it with nothing but veggies and hold back on the meat.. sorry for saying veggies so much but that's all I got in what was supposed to be a Buffalo chicken wrap...
Let me tell y’all something. The manager of this place knows what he’s doing. I ordered two All American wraps, I only received one. Honest mistake, I work in restaurants so I know it happens, no big deal, they made me another. Not only did they make me another wrap but he gave me a card for a free item. AND they included a free cookie in my bag. I’ll be back!
Love this place for a quick lunch. Generally get a wrap and a smoothie. I try to mix it up but each one I've gotten has been good. Would definitely recommend.
I’m willing to bet my issue is with the same person that others have commented on and management still haven’t removed. Congratulations Kianna, you are the most miserable, poor attitude, server I’ve ever had in the whole of America. If you hate people that much get a job that doesn’t involve dealing with the public. I won’t go back if she’s working there. I’ll take my money elsewhere.
I had the Bahama Mama protein smoothie and omg! It was sooo good! I'll definitely be back! It was an after workout treat!
I love their food here but unfortunately when i come here there is always a worker with a bad attitude. I don’t have any complaints about the food or the smoothies i get though. I would just like to feel comfortable in an environment i spend my money in and not be given an attitude when i am speaking nicely with the lady.
Unfortunately this place has went from awesome to not good at all. Either stuff has been missing or the order was wrong.Today I ordered an apple and banana as side since they don’t over chips anymore.I would’ve never gave out that banana - see picture!Staff member was super friendly! Just for him 2 stars!!
