Great food, great service, great prices
It was a To go order of 6 tacos -chicken,fish and mutton (2 of each) and 1chicken Burrito. All the 6 tacos were very bad, the taco shell was uncooked and meat was not fresh and was very dry. The taco did not have all the ingredients in it, it just had very dry and unfresh meat in it. The burrito was fine though. Very disappointed as this was our first to go order here, we usually dine in and they served good food. Would never take a To go order from them again. Looks like they do not want to put in the same effort for to go orders as they do for dine in orders.
They have a hard time taking orders over the phone. I ask for shrimp tacos and I get beef tacos. As someone who does not eat meat I’m sure I did not order this. I won’t accept my order being made wrong countless times. I also don’t appreciate the restaurant staff having an attitude when I ask them to remake it. Improvements need to be made.
We love a new tradition- Sunday Sopes from Tiki Taco! So good. Such an authentic, & hidden gem. The prices are amazing- like REALLY AMAZING. Im so glad my husband found this spot. I highly recommend if you love authentic Mexican food.The space is a little tight, but that just adds character! Love the patio area & the service is FABULOUS! We can't wait for next week. I’ve been hearing about this restaurant for some time now thru word of mouth. It is as great as everyone said it would be! The street corn was awesome, the tacos were delicious and authentic, and the pina Fresca was delectable. I’ll be returning!
I had someone recommend Tiki Tacos and they said, “It’s a small hole in the wall joint but they are super friendly and the food is amazing”, they were right!! I got two pollo street tacos and chips and salsa. They were amazing! The best street tacos I have had since Mexico years ago. Then I check out and my ticket was $5 and some change. You can’t eat at Taco Bell for that price! My only regret is not ordering some to go and that we do not have a Tiki Taco here in Birmingham.
Great authentic Mexican. Had the Carnitas tacos - very good. Basic and casual but very comfortable. Good value.
I have to share my visit( 2 times may and sep 2021)to this mexican restaurantAlso I have to take off 2 stars because take so longFor servers to attend us and they have music too loud!!(We nicely ask to waitress to turn down volume a littleBit because speaker was litteraly on my head) but theyDo not do it! Do not pay attention to my request!Otherwise food and drinks are great and prices areAwesome!
Had a decent torta. plate envy of the other diners. Their tacos and quesadillas looked real good
