My children got the chicken tenders. My husband and I both got elk burgers. They have a variety of different meats to try to put on your burger. The pickles are homemade which I liked. We also got pulled pork nachos whichymy husband keeps mentioning now cause he loved them so much. They really were very good. The chicken tenders were big and had a very nice consistency of chicken to breading ratio. I think my only complaint was I didn't much care for their tea brand(maybe brisk?). Other than that, everything was spectacular.

Good burger, good fries and great milkshakes! I had the beef burger but vegetarian options were also available. Highly recommended!

Why? Because I'm giving SB a rare FIVE STARS. It exceeded all of my expectations for a burger joint. Now back to my review. While driving along Park Circle's ever-expanding Restaurant Row, the wife and I engaged once again in "Where Do We Eat Roulette?", the game with no prizes, just a credit card bill and a YELP review. AZUL - Good, but we just had Mexican. Spin again. EVO PIZZA - Good, but we just had Pizza. Spin again. SOUTHERN ROOTS - Good, but we just had BBQ. Spin again. TATOOED MOOSE - Pass. (See my review). Spin again. Then we found ourselves cruising past Sesame Burgers. Lot didn't seem full. Never been. We have a winner. Restaurant is much smaller on the inside than it looks, but we were able to score a table near the back door. Our server, who looked like she was 16 (everybody under 40 looks that way to me nowadays), greeted us with a 1000 watt smile. She had one of those magnetic winning personalities that you usually find on successful time-share salesmen. I would've bought a vacation rental unit in Myrtle Beach right then and there if it weren't for the fact that we prefer the South of France (Bonjour, Marie et Jacques à Villefranche!). Anyway, quickly ascertained that SB had a fine selection of OLD WHITE MAN beer in addition to the usual IPA heavy, Craft Beer assortment so beloved by the backward baseball cap wearing set, and ordered a PBR Tallboy. SB uses a BUILD YOUR OWN model, where you start off selecting burgers fashioned from beef, elk, chicken, turkey or black bean, and bread - sesame brioche, whole wheat, ciabatta or gluten free, which definitely sets this place apart. The wife decided on a PATTY MELT and I went with the PARK CIRCLE, starting off with a surprisingly tasty order of CHEESE CURDS (like Fried Mozzarella, but less gooey). Back of the kitchen seemed to be having issues (folks getting orders wrong, appetizers served late, slowness etc.), but that seems to be the case everywhere now thanks to COVID in my opinion. One side note, SB is another one of those Low Country restaurants that charge extra for fries which ruffles my feathers, but theirs are fresh cut, plump and delicious, so I would happily pay the modest up-charge if I were you. Medium was a bit too red for our tastes, but we overlooked it because the finished product was superb. The PATTY MELT received an 8 out of 10 on our benchmark Jersey City Colonette Diner scale. Mustard was an unorthodox abeit welcome twist on the sandwich. I made the mistake of ordering Ciabatta bread with my PARK CIRCLE. It was too thick and made eating the cole slaw laden burger difficult to eat. Will adjust my bread choice accordingly in the future Don't know what came over us, but we ordered ONION RINGS also. Wonderful, but we needed assistance getting up from our table when done, we were so full. Woke up the next day with a smile on my face after dreaming about this meal!

This was one of my favorite places for lunch pre Covid. I finally returned for the first time last week. The food is still very good but we were surprised when we received our checks. Each had a 4% economic impact fee added. If this was indicated anywhere (on the menu, signage in the restaurant) it wasn’t obvious and unexpected. I understand that costs have gone up for the food and beverage industry but I find it disingenuous to not just include the fee as an increase to the menu so that when you order you know what to expect for your bill.

Awesome service and Kate was super attentive and friendly. Food was good and this place was able to accommodate our group of 20 with kids from out of town ⚾️ thanks so much for everything ⭐️

This is one of my go- to places. I love their elk cheeseburger Caesar salad! It is a big portion. (Create your own- via the menu) love it! Can’t find it anywhere else. For the chocolate lovers-(big portion)brownies & chocolate chip cookies individually wrapped - super yummy!Oh- a must try: White Russian Milkshake. That combination is one of the best meals ever & great prices. The salad and milkshake is best of both worlds. Try it & you’ll agree!Picture above is their new pickle appetizer. They have a sweetness to them & notice they’re spears vs tiny cut up cucumbers.Staff is always really nice, attentive & have noticed they are constantly doing a thorough clean down.Believe they’re open for catering & they seem to do a good amount of take out.

Good burgers and milk shakes with friendly staff. Was disappointed that I got a medium well done to well done burger when I had ordered medium. Good beef should not be cooked so long. For the price, you would think the cooks could have gotten it right. The server offered to take it back but it seemed unnecessary.

Hot, Relaxed, Filling. As a late night dinner idea this suggestion was a spot on recommendation. The employees were friendly and curious, the orders were a correct and we were in and out in under an hour. Our party of six was seven together with hot food that was savory and cooked to order. Thank you.

Loved my first time here for a work holiday party. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. Cheese curds and the napa burger followed by a spiked cookies and cream milkshake for dessert.

The food was amazing, the waitress was pleasent and kind, even when our kid wasn't on his best behavior. This is the first place I've gone on my life that makes a beverage with alcohol that I can actually drink!! That's saying something as I hate the taste is alcohol. They have earned return customers tonight and if situation allows, some regulars!! Thank you to everyone there tonight, we had a blast!
