First time at location with family was very pleasant. The place was clean but could use some cleaning in the drink station area. However it did become busy once ordered was placed. The prices was somewhat reasonable on certain items. The food was fresh and prepared accordingly. The wait time was reasonable. Overall thanks for your service to the community.?????

Food is okay for what it is, the staff are very friendly and the location is very good.Most of the time the steak turns out very dry so stick to the chicken. The sushi is okay but it’s very similar to grocery store quality.Prices are a little more than I would like to pay for the quality, but you do get a good amount of food.Weird atmosphere, they always play Kenny G saxophone songs whenever I go in, but that isn’t an issue lol.Just be careful of the tables, they seem to never be cleaned because they’re always sticky and so is the floor.
I was very disappointed at this location they have a lot of items that are not cooked to order they are already precooked and the vegetables have been sitting up and they were very soggy. I ordered something and I wanted hibachi rice with it they told me that I couldn't get it like that yeah I already had everything pre-cooked I ordered the tempered shrimp it was not good at all it was not cooked well the coating was falling off and the vegetables that came with it were cold they had already pre-cooked or pre-fried I was upset for the money that I spent I would not be visiting this location again. And on top of that they are expensive but the food is not worth it in my case.
I wasn't impressed with the steak and shrimp plate. Steak was hard like it was cooked and put aside, wasnt hot it was barely warm. Shrimp wasnt very flavorful. I just hope I dont get sick.
My Last time eating here. Front door dirty. Condiment area filthy. Table sticky. Trash in area directly at the front door. This place was good, but, is now changing to a typical nasty North Charleston restaurant.
Soda was flat. Food was bland went home to re cook the steak. No veggies except mushrooms.
Food and restaurant used to be great! Unfortunately their recent low taste quality and the sad fact that they are NEVER open has caused a huge downward spiral in my take on SOJ. The Rivers and Trolley locations are awful - Tanger was the last remaining one that I would always visit. It truly is a hit or a miss at this point. SOJ Tanger REALLY should update their hours and stick to them!
The food is delicious however this specific restaurant seems to never be open. The sign on the door says they'll be closed till Dec. 26 so I came back on the 27th and they are still closed. I've run into the problem of them being closed most of the time I've come here.
For lunch our fire station (7 firefighters) decided to eat here. While eating we received a call and had to quickly leave. Upon returning we found that our food was collected and taken to the back awaiting our return. They even covered our plates to keep them warm. Not many people do this and it’s very appreciated.
