Being that I've lived in the port city all of my life seafood is a natural choice for me. I can still be very critical of my choice of seafood being that when it comes to seafood there's an unlimited choice but the Red Crab stands out. The atmosphere was very much galley like with the service by the staff very hospitality friendly. We meaning me and my wife and some dear friends of ours all enjoyed our meals. Dru was our server and she went above and beyond to help us out. Of course the food was very good and pleasing with me ordering a shrimp basket with an Arnold Palmer for my beverage. So if you're in the North Charleston area by chance and looking for a good place that's easy on the budget I'd highly recommend this place.

My oysters were great and my server was excellent. Server def awarded them the 3 stars, but also because we got fried seafood baskets. The Boiled seafood was so expensive! No doubt costs have gone up, but it was def much higher than where I'm from (also on east coast). Way too much French fries with the order, but would be perfect for kids sharing a basket. Tarter sauce was a little vinegar-y and def could use some more pickles. Hush puppies were good. My suggestion is get a fried basket with +$1 onion rings side instead of ordering onion ring app. It's a lot of food to order both. Other than that, the staff is lovely!! Just to add since I can't reply, I would def go back now that I know what to order. I know costs are high, but like I said the food was yum and the staff was fantastic!!Parking: Be careful driving in the back way, which is the way Google maps told us to take. There are GIANT potholes... like if your car went over the edge of one you likely wouldn't be able to drive out of it. You'd be sitting with your undercarriage on cement.

Decided to stop in and try this place at 5:30 pm on a Tuesday. Only a handful of people were there so we figured we would get in and grab a decent meal without having to wait for a table. we were seated and waited for twenty minutes. No server greeted us or Anything. meanwhile four servers stood at the front and chit chatted the whole time. so we left. Avoid service is terrible.

Everytime I come to Charleston I have to eat this place Everything is delicious the steamed oysters are my favorite ? ?

One of the best seafood places I’ve been to hands down

Awesome place, great food and great atmosphere! Employees are always friendly

Sorry to say but we were very disappointed. First off we are not drinkers and the wife wanted a coffee we were told they don't serve coffee. Then I asked if they had blue crab ( This was the only reason why we stopped) I was told no blue crab. I was going to leave but we didn't know where to go and it was late in the day, so I ordered the crawdads and sausage boil. It was okay not great.

Good is great!!! Phenomenal!!! The waiters need to be more presentable. The restaurant needs to be routinely cleaned throughout the day. Dirty floors everywhere. The restroom is a DISGRACE!!! They are making money there is NO reason the restroom should be that NASTY. I will NOT RETURN due to these reasons.

I’ve actually been to a lot of seafood places in and around Charleston and this was the only place that actually served a quality amount of food. They just didn’t give one corn and two potatoes. They made sure to add more. The seasoning was excellent! The staff was great as well. Very nice place. If you’re considering going to this place, GO! You won’t be disappointed.

The menu online and at the restaurant are different. They do not have po boys like the online menu indicates. They also do not have a full liquor bar, as the website or their name implies. My brother-in-law did not like the place as soon as he walked in, but my food was personally awesome. I ordered the Dungeness Special with Medium Juicy Special sauce. It was more than enough to fill me up.
