I was extremely pleased with the service of our waitress Jannis! She went above and beyond to keep our party happy! Jannis was very cordial and professional! The food was delicious! I had the Low country boil and it was amazing! It’s so much food that we all had takeout. I highly recommend this place! Just a FYI you can autograph the wall anywhere you’d like! ?
Stumbled upon this restaurant looking for a quick seafood lunch...PERFECT! The portions are terrific and the flavor is even better! Went with the mild Cajun seasoning! YUMMY! The Dungeness crab was our FAVORITE! Restaurant was clean and followed Covid guidelines. Wish there was on closer to home, but will be the place we go next time we visit Charleston!

The place is nice, the service is good , the prices are average BUT it is not a place to invite your girl friend or prospective customer. It reeks of cheap.. The food is served on paper baskets, or paper plates, the silverware is Plastic ware, they hand you only one fork, no knife, salt and pepper , you need to ask. No table cloth, only paper.
We happened upon this restaurant because it was fairly close to hour hotel. It was just was we needed. Great snow crab, shrimp and lobster tail. Quick and polite service.
Been to The Red Crab 3x in the last two weeks because the food is just THAT good. Amazing flavor and kick in the seafood bags, and good portions of the shrimp and clams. If you go, ask for Troy, he is the best server me and my family have ever had, he even tied on our bibs for my grandmother, mother, and I. Thank you Red Crab and see you next week!

Red Crab on Northwoods Boulevard in North Charleston has fresh and delicious seafood for a good value. I really like the location and atmosphere of the restaurant as you can relax and enjoy your meal here for lunch or for dinner after a busy day. The food is well prepared and the staff here goes out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. They are well worth a visit for quality seafood.
My future & I had their crab legs, fried shrimp, fried tilapia, and onion rings.... We will be coming here again. Hates off to the cook. The seasoning on everything was remarkable??
