Oh boy!! My Tug Boat has been in Charleston harbor for about 2 years now. I've been looking for just good tacos everywhere without any luck. Until my new deckhand suggested eating lunch here. I was blown away!! The tacos were out of this world amazing!! All ingredients were super fresh. The homemade sauces were something I haven't experienced before. I ate with three people besides myself and I tried a bite of each meal covering the range of the menu and oh my goodness!!Other than it's a little bit off the beaten path and passing a few sketchy neighborhoods. This is by far the best Mexican food. I've eaten anytime. A food truck builds a brick and mortar building. Usually the food is excellent. Definitely check these guys out

Definitely a must try if you are in the area - a true Charleston hidden gem!We came here for the queso brunch one weekend and everything was delicious!! Highly recommend the breakfast quesadilla or the beefy soft & crunch taco!We also tried their dessert taco - basically an elevated version of the classic choco taco - delicious!!! The color changing cups were also a super fun touch and childhood throw back! Love this place!They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is dog friendly (always an added bonus)!

I literally have nothing negative to say about this place. Rebel has quickly shot up to one of my favorite restaurants. The food is remarkable, the drinks are great, and the service is second to none. Vince makes you feel right at home and is super knowledgeable when it comes to his craft. His passion and a drive has been awesome to see in person. The atmosphere of this place is so much better than any other bar I’ve been to. Honestly, a must go to in the area

The three taco with chz dipping sause was the worst I ever had. I took 2 bits and asked my kids if they wanted it so of course my greedy kids said yes. All 3 took a bit and said no the after taste is horrible. Will only go for the wings which every other time they taste good. Overall will only return if my car is broke giving I stay in walking distance. Very disappointing.
Stopped in for lunch on a work day. This place is AWESOME! The menu is straightforward and incredibly well executed. Chips and salsa are obviously made in house and very different from what most people are used to (incredible). The catfish tacos were so good im tempted to go back for dinner. The sauces that they offer could build a business in themselves. Atmosphere and service were flawless. This is a gem.
Decent meals, high quality ingredients, but very expensive for a seemingly casual place. App, two meals, and two beers was $67. Not including tip. And one person's meal was brought out 15 minutes before everyone else's, which was awkward.
