Very unprofessional originally I had planned on writing an essay about my visit but I'll keep it short.Only went there because I was not gonna make it to the Goose Creek location before closing.Made a simple 3 item order via the appCashier removed my order from the waiting list bc my order was gonna be prepped next until it wasn't ? 20 mins later I'm asked what I'm waiting for then less than 5mins my order is made with nowhere offered for the bad experience.If I could have gotten my money back I would have but didn't see any option for that in the app.Kitchen was a mess and with plenty of people in the kitchen working unless being yelled at nothing was getting done.I already knew not to come to this location but after this visit I had to post a review because that particular location has been awful for such a long time.
Multiple missing items and charging for it online. No communication whatsoever and then I was told that they told DoorDash to contact me. I don’t know what delivery service has to do with missing food items. Why didn’t the restaurant contact me. Food was cold and undercooked. Chicken had no flavor. Horrible experience. I would not recommend. I didn’t realize I order from this restaurant and not the one on Dorchester Rd.
I'm not one to post negative reviews, but I have to when there are consistencies in bad experiences. In the 6 or 7 times we've gotten chicken from this location, there's only been 1 time our chicken was fried okay (just okay). All other times, it's been burnt or fried in old oil. Pretty much inedible at that point because the chicken is dry and tastes burnt. There's been another time we ordered spicy and we received original. We've tried going when it was busy, when it wasn't busy, trying to figure out when is the best time to get non burnt chicken. We give up. It would be 2 stars for the bad chicken, but I'm adding a star since the fries are good. Don't know how we get good fries every time but not even close with the chicken. We had good experience with the Summerville location, but it's a shame it's not close to where we live. This is all very disappointing.
Very disappointing. I ordered a two piece and two spicy sandwich combos. Received a two piece with two sides of mashed potatoes and a single spicy sandwich. To further the frustration the phone doesn't work to even be able to contact them.. I live way down in west Ashley and I am not driving all the way back to wait in line for another 30 minutes.. this is ridiculous.. For a southern business y'all never get it right and the few times you do, it is always cold.. I would say do better but I do not think that is possible.. wish I could give negative stars.. I will be purchasing from KFC from now on..
Well first the Drive thur line was long as usual. Then wen i did place my order I ask for rice but when i realize it wasn't what i thought I was getting i went in and exchanged it for something else well no problem but wen i got home and look at the small child size chicken parts that i received i was discussed buy how small they was for the amount of money I spent.
The wait was extremely long, and they got my order wrong. I ordered 3 fish sandwiches, and when I got back to my hotel room, they had put chicken sandwiches in fish sandwich bags. I took them back up there, and they gave me 3 more. I checked them before I left, and it was fish this time. However, when we got back to the room and attempted to eat them, they were cold and raw on the inside. I had to go back up there and get a refund for my whole order. Very bad experience. I will never visit this place again ??
My husband and I have sadly wasted our time coming to this location. The last 2 times we’ve tried to come here (which were months apart), they have not been serving chicken sandwiches. The first time was because they had “just opened” and hadn’t cooked the chicken yet. Today they’re reason was that their toaster is broken. Sounds like bad excuses to me.
UPDATE: I came back to this location for a door dash pickup and it was a totally different. The line moved fast and my doordash was in and out. Thank y’all for doing betterold comment: i love Popeyes but the service at this location is awful. every time i come here. super slow, employees will look at you but not assist..some of them will be “busy” but the task being accomplished are not beneficial.i’m here today and there is a line of people in the store and a full drive thru and the employees are literally huddled in a corner by the computer…y’all have to do better.
I was truly disappointed in the 3 piece chicken meal I purchased. I would have been lucky if each individual piece was at least 3 ounces with bones. I think I will leave Popeyes Louisiana Chicken alone for about 5 years, then see what they have available in chicken dinners for the consumer. I just can't imagine the pieces can get any smaller. Whew!
The food was cooked. a roach was in my food. which is discussing.
