We are staying in the “hotel district” and this place was just what we needed after a long day of traveling. He got the White Zombie and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunset in Paradise adult beverages. We split 10 wings, very delicious we like them naked with sauce on the side. He got a small Mighty Meat pizza and could only eat half! That’s a lot of meat! I got the Sausagefest calzone and could also only eat half. All delicious food and Taylor (our waitress) was quick and very polite.
I've been to the same chain in other states and this one was just not up to par.They put too much cheese and sauce on their pizza. Don't get me wrong.. I like extra cheese.But also like to pick up my pizza instead of having to eat it off the plate.with a fork.which defeats the whole purpose of having a thin crust pizza.
I love coming to the Mellow Mushroom. This was my first time eating at the North Charleston location. The pizza was excellent, the outdoor seating area was nice and breezy, and all the staff were very friendly. I look forward to visiting this location again.
Pizza and wings was cold and the sweet tea tasted old. I don’t know if it was close to closing or what but it was terrible! Requested wings to be extra crispy and they was soggy! Drove 4hrs to come on vacation to Charleston and was tired and hungry only to be disappointed. Never again
I ordered the steak and cheese calzone. Our wait was ridiculously long for our food. I almost thought our waitress clocked out.When the food did arrive…I give it a 1 ⭐️ The dough had a sort of cheap frozen pizza taste.
I love Mellow Mushroom! One of my favorite restaurants! (I am sad we don’t have one in NY) our server was a sweetheart and I had the pretzel bites with beer cheese which are so so yummy!

First, I must say “We love Mellow Mushroom”. However, we were so disappointed at this Mellow. The pizza was half “bubble crust” and was “slightly brown”.The Caesar Salad was pitiful. It looked like a half cup of sprinkle Parmesan cheese dumped on top. When we asked the server about it, she said, “That’s the way it comes. Sometimes they add too much. Would you like another salad?” No way did we want another! The Enlightened Salad was good. The place was packed with people and the server was very kind. There was quite a wait for the pizza to arrive. We might give it another try- maybe!
Would have been a 5 but the meatballs were not warm enough otherwise very good. It is located next to a Tesla supercharger so we plugged in and ordered our food. When car was charged I went out unplugged and moved my car. Went back in and the food was there waiting. I had the Havana or Cuban hoagie which was outstanding. Will return
