Great fried food & the BEST Crab cakes I've had in a while. Didn't care for the clam strips or beans & rice. The food is consistently good and affordable.
A very nice place but small and can be very overcrowded sometimes but the fish is very fresh plus you get to pick your own very reasonable prices plus I got the 6 piece whiting fish and it was very good and they gave me more than my money worth plus I drove 1 hrs just to go there
Terrible terrible terrible!!!Fish was so stale chewy and no flavor no seasoning. Looks like they heat leftover food. Made my stomach upset ?That’s not what we expected!! At least my dog is going to eat it :(Would not recommend for anyone
They have loyal customers. That says enough. I started going there because they often have crabs when no one else does.
Been coming here for years. I'm a Charleston native living in NC. I'll drive down just for a bushel of crab because my family and I are such seafood lovers. The staff will fill my cooler, position each crab right-side up giving them the best chance of living through the trip, and cover them with ice. Definitely my go-to when visiting for fresh seafood to rejuvenate that Geechie Boy Spirit!!
TERRIBLE! Just got stationed here and wanted to try some seafood. The fried fish was THIN and have been sittin for a while so it was chewy. The fried shrimp was soggy and previously spoiled because I tasted that ammonia taste. I thought they cook the food on the spot but it was all cooked and sittin for a while. The red rice is Spanish rice...WHY!?! Why not a Cajun rice? Only thing that was hot was my fries. The fresh seafood on ice looked good though. Stay away from the cooked seafood
Fast service during lunch which is a great deal for lunch that's 30mins. The food is fresh and hot and let's not forget delicious. So if u over that way stop in and the beautiful woman is so graceful. The u Marvin's for wonderful customer service!!
I went down there to get some local shrimp but they said they were not getting any... . he said they were farm raised from Guatemala or some where ..so I was disappointed about that...i did get 3 lbs anyways.. they are definitely not as good as our local shrimp .. . I did get two nice flounders and ate one the other nite and froze the other ... It was delicious ???
