The fried chicken was unseasoned with no breading. The macaroni and cheese was dry seasoned noodles with cheese thrown in here and there. The banana pudding was gross and soupy. The bananas used were very brusied because the pudding was brown. This was the most expensive trash I've ever paid for. I spent almost $40 because I ordered with door dash and the food was HORRIBLE. I feel robbed!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!
I have eaten from here before but apparently eating from here late is not a good idea. The red rice was hard..sausage looked dried out as if it was old..the shrimp was so tough I could barely get the tails off..The potato salad was very watery and the seafood salad was just noodles and a few shrimp.. Mac and cheese was over powering with a mustard vinegar taste..not at all like the first experience I had with this restaurant. An what made it the worse was the picture of the red velvet cake you thought you were getting and ended up with a piece of a store bought cake . At least it was red... I was really disappointed in my service
I heard good things about this place that's why I decided to try it but unfortunately the food is not seasoned at all and it's very bland. I tried it twice on two different occasions and each time the food was bland no seasoning what's the ever...

Ordered from Door Dash. The food wasn't great. The green beans and yams DEFINITELY came out of a can. It had that nasty metallic taste. You cannot be a soul food or whatever you want to call it with foods that come out of a can. The food is too expensive for mediocre. By the reviews you will lose ALOT of customers. FIX IT! Or it wont last long. HALF OF MY FOOD WENT IN THE TRASH.

I ordered through doordash and I ordered the 4 side special. They literally only delivered 2 pieces of chicken. No macaroni and cheese, no seafood salad, no red rice. Extremely disappointing.
