We were seated in good time. The server was to our table in a timely manner. Our drinks were great. I had the skinny margarita and hubby had a big Bud Light. We enjoyed the guacamole appetizer. Our meals were delicious!! I even enjoyed the rice, which I'm picky about. The server was great and returned multiple times to check in. All in all we enjoyed ourselves. We were glad we stopped in for dinner!
We were seated and given menus. The waiter came back every minute to ask if we were ready to order yet. The food, once ordered, was delicious. The mole sauce was very nice but less spicy than I'm used to. Nothing special about the rice. Soft drink refills came with more and more ice until we asked to bring a new glass with much less ice. The price was higher than we typically pay at good Mexican restaurants. And when I visited the restroom, the floor was mostly wet with pools of urine. When I went to flush, the handle nearly came out of the wall.
So the food here was definitely delicious. They have a variety of different things on the menu, which made it a bit hard to choose from. The menu is put together really well. It has a nice environment. The chips and salsa were good. The guacamole was PERFECT. The sweet tea was really sweet. Our waitress was great. Food came out quick. I got the Texas Rice. The meats were not steamy hot, but that’s ok because it was ready to dig into. The rice was perfect, soft and tasty.
Sat at the bar, David was very nice and prompt with service. Ordered fajitas for 2, tasted great! However I had food poisoning the rest of the night. Also ordered some drinks. Specifically margaritas and a crown and redbull. The crown and redbull was terrible. Watched him mix it, nothing out of the ordinary but I would stake my reputation that it was not crown in that bottle.
The Quesa Birria is a new dish and was awesome tacos - brisket meat with cheese and the corn tortilla tasted good too! Chips and salsa are standard before the meal. If you want to save, drink water as all of these places charge $2.50 for a coke. The menu choices are widely varied. The service was fast and friendly and she checked on us often, which is great as we needed a little more salsa once, a little more coke another time and a little more sour cream also. If you are dropping someone off at the airport, try to do it on an empty stomach so you can eat here. Or if you are picking them up, bring them here after you pick them up. Airport is not far at all.
When they say they have the best guacamole in town they were not lying!!!! The small was more than enough to eat with the awesome chips and with your dinner for 2 people! Our server was very soft spoken but very good at his job!! I had the shrimp and rice with cheese sauce which was excellent and the perfect amount of food!!! Thank you for the awesome dining experience!! We love Mexican style food and we will definitely be back!!
Our waiter was very kind, patient and efficient. Lots of chips and salsa, my chori pollo was excellent, really tasty. No problemo on the drinks either, and we made it to the game with time to spare, all good and will go back again.
Change of plans had me eating on my own, so I thought I'd try this out of the way place. Big crowd but rapid seating. Good, hot food! Very pleasant server. Some of their people burst forth in song periodically, and one of the servers is a dry comedian! Couple of large TVs on the other side of the restaurant by the bar had ballgames on. Several families there and good flexibility of seating. Decent but not fancy. If you like a casual atmosphere and good food, check it out!
Wait staff needs to be be able to communicate more efficiently with each other. I ordered a new menu item. My order was taken by another waiter not once but twice. Then when mine arrived,after everyone else at my table was finished, (mind you each time my waitress came to tell me what happend she was laughing) I was served a huge piece of raw bacon on top. I've tried 4 locations and the one that is good is Summerville.
