Just wanted to share an actual recent experience at this "restaurant". Went to the bar to order a drink and enjoy some chips/salsa. Very simple plan. I was the only one at the bar. Waited and waited for the bar tender to serve me. She was just standing there drinking something and in her own little world. Next I saw the "manager" shooting spit wads at the bar tender. This is something you do in the 3rd grade. Another waitress was showing the bar tender her tooth ache. How gross ! There were many workers just hanging out around the bar shooting the breeze. Finally got a menu only to find out there are NO prices for the food or drink on the menu. What type of restaurant does this ?? Do they make up different prices for different customers ?? I asked about happy hour prices and got several different answers from different people. This was not a complicated question. The salsa chips were not fresh. The beer was fresh. I cashed out and left as soon as I could. The owner's should visit Santi's Mexican on Meeting street to learn how to run and operate a truly good Mexican restaurant !
I use to like going here, but the service has dropped off... it has been "hit and miss" for awhile, but today? A BIG miss !3 tables of people inside and 1 table outside. I counted 5 waiters / waitresses on the floor or behind the bar, plus hostess.I was promptly seated outside as requested (they are re-doing the outside dining area to be very nice), but I must say.... if no one comes to your table with chips / salsa or for a drink order after 20 minutes (remember- place was not busy) it does not matter how nice the outside dining area is becoming.Needless to say, I left cuz of very poor service.
The atmosphere was great… the margaritas were good.. the food was HORRIBLE. WAAAYY over priced.. I hate leaving negative reviews but I felt I had to. The food was just bad. Taco salad was disgusting. Chicken fajitas was bad. The strewn corn was bathed in sandwich mayo for some reason. Salsa and chips were the best part of the dinner. Didn’t even finish the food and left. Hopefully it gets improved. Won’t be back again
Currently at the location and upset because they unplugged the Touch Toons machine while we were playing our “ Cultured” music the Manager SALVADOR un plugged the machine after we spent our money to buy credits no one complained at the bar area, we are not loud or irate causing any disturbance. Nor does the music that Touch Toons offer have NO CURSE words When asked he lied and said that his manager called and asked him to unplug it . Im here every FRIDAY spending my money and he is the MANAGER! I will not be back to this location I’ll take my money else where‼️
Just ate at this establishment today. Was not very busy probably 8 -10 other tables. Looked like 4 servers. So we sat down and chips/salsa was brought to the table. The chips were cold(not necessarily a bad thing) and the chips tasted stale. We recieved our beverages at the same time. Our server took our order food took 30-45 mins to arrive. We sat with empty drinks for as long as 20 mins and in that time we did not see our server once. Food finally arrived i ordered a taco salad the taco meat(if you can call it that) was room temperature . I'm convinced their taco meat comes directly from a can or terrible dehydrated stuff that had 0 texture of ground beef. My friend started feeling ill. It was not a good experience. This was the 2nd time ive tried this establishment service was the exact same but i had ordered the fajitas the 1st round and they were okay not bad but not great. im not one to write a negative review after one nights bad service everyone has bad days but the second time and having the similar issues is unacceptable. As far as the service. I understand covid impacted the service industry and its difficult for places to find employees willing to come to work and had the place been packed and they were short staffed i would have completely accepted the wait. But they had more than enough staff on duty and limited patrons to make it an enjoyable experience on the service side of things. Food is a dif issue.
Amazing Place and Courteous Staff! From the time we arrived until the time we left, we had phenomenal customer service! We both had the steak quesadilla with rice and refried beans and some fried jalapeno that had such a unique flavor! Definitely a place to come back to... Highly recommended!
Decided to go to this particular la hacienda bc normally, we get good service. Something was off this visit.1. We came inside no host. So we sat and waited. Employees looked at us and walked past us.2. After we were talking among ourselves, about seating, finally a employee caught on.3. We ordered frozen drinks. 1st one, we sent back bc didn't look or taste as what we ordered. 2nd drink after requesting for a different one, had no hint of alcohol and watery. (Pretty much just a watery slush)4. Took a while for our food. Ppl were getting there's much quicker.5. Wrong order came out.6. Food was room temperature and should've been sizzling.7. A condiment was missing off of my meal. I had to ask for it. That was supposed to be included in the meal. When I received my bill, it was on my bill as a charge.8. SINCE WHEN IS GRATUITY INCLUDED IN A BILL FOR 1 PERSON? AND ONLY PARTY OF 2. (WHO PAID SEPARATE)Maybe I missed the menu on that one. But I never have before.....HmmmI get it with covid and some restaurants are struggling with not having enough employees. BUT these were things Not caused by lack of staff..
My favorite Mexican restaurant! Service is always fast, food is always amazing, and the staff are so nice! They even brought my toddler a free bowl of cherries because she was upset, thank you so much!
Good food. The waiter offered us small, medium, or large margaritas. We ordered the large. Expecting like just a bigger glass. And instead he comes out with the fish bowls. So there is some terminology they use to get your bill higher. We drank about half the bowl before we had to call it quits as it was 1pm on a Monday.
