I'm not a fan of IHOP's food (we went there for the kids) but we had no problem with the food. Our waitress was awesome and made sure we were well taken care of. The problem is the whole place is dirty including blood on the toilet seat in the restroom. According to the posted cleaning sheet, neither bathroom had been cleaned in 2 days. I'm sure they are understaffed and overworked as most places are currently but it's unacceptable for a customer to be able to look around and see messes everywhere.
Tables not bussed, those that were still had sticky liquid on table surface. Floors were sticky under the table. Hostess seated us while chomping on her lunch. Waitress leaned up against wall and scratched her back while taking order. The staff yelled to one another over significant distance so it was difficult for customers to have a conversation. One particular staff person ( cook, owner??) kept making cameo appearances to counsel staff in the most filthy shirt and pants (street clothes not a cooks uniform) ever witnessed in a restaurant. Omelet was barely edible filled with some unknown that gave it an “off” taste, Toast and pancakes served with frozen hunks of butter (not just hard- thoroughly frozen could not use it).The ice tea was old and watered down, the hash browns were burnt on one side - cook put that side down facing plate. These people should not be in the restaurant business!
The best breakfast I had on my trip to the US.Perfect eggs and hash browns and the pancakes were spot on.Quick service and polite staff.
The food was excellent, but my food was not very warm when I got got it. Had to ask for silverware also when I got my food as there was none on the table. The waitress seemed OK, but had to keep asking for refills. They were very busy being Sunday morning, so I guess they to many tables to wait on. Still overall very nice place to eat at!
The food was good, the only reason I leave 2 stars is because of the server and what I believe is the restaurant manager. Our waitress told the manager that our drinks (Dr. Pepper) had like a lemon taste. The guy looked annoyed. Our waitress gives off an annoyed, and doesn't want to be here vibe. That's the only reason I leave 2 stars, also I hear other waitresses and other staff use foul language while on the job
Our server was great, kind and engaging as well knowledgeable and professional. My o letter and grits were delicious and the coffee was great. They are definitely doing it right here.
We stopped in last night and out waitress was super. Food is always good and breakfast for dinner is fun, especially since we had a late lunch.
Attentive and friendly server, even though she was literally the ONLY one. The manager on duty was also very nice and it was clear they both took care and pride in their jobs and for their restaurant.
Went for breakfast (for dinner). Service and food were good. I ordered one of the spicy chipotle pepper dishes but it had no peppers or cheese (someone forgot the sauce?). Server brought me side of sauce though. Husband said the GF pancakes were really good.
Had a great waiter! Food was okay wasn't completely horrible but it could have been improved just a little. But overall not too bad.
