I have never been so disappointed as I was last night. We went on Saturday night my daughter was dead set on going there as a reward for a good report card. We observed the following issues.Tons of food pans emptyBaked potato that were black inside from sitting out on the steam line all day.The clam chowder and broccoli and cheese soup had a thick skin on top because they were never refreshed.I watched an employee fill a pan of mac and cheese on the hot line from a foil pan.Pans should be changed out to refillCould not fine a soup spoonAnd prices went up.

To begin with we walk in and everything was fine until we got to the register and the women working it, she was so rude. I decided to split with my sister, she gave us 3 plates 2 for us and one for her boyfriend, after we ordered she had a horrible attitude because I didn’t get my own. We proceed to sit down and I was getting my food and Janett was her name was rude to begin with. I don’t recommend coming to this place because they are just rude.

Went here the other day.. Sadly disappointed. Not sure if management changed, it was dirty. Food all over the counters, children quit young messing with the food and not one employee said a thing or enforced the age parent policy. They've placed fish and seafood and tongs eight next to thr chicken and other food, ppl being lazy as they are used one set of tongs to grab their catfish then same for chicken. I've a severe fish and seafood allergy, this isn't ok. Places like this need to place fish and seafood in its own area. So pretty much got stuck with the steak. Advertised all sorts of ribs, had a very under seasoned dry rub rib but no other ribs were out all all. They advertised prime rib too. Not one out the whole time we wetr there. To end the night a person at our table had the cat fish and shrimp. They were sick as all get out almost 45 minutes later. Do not know what you changed corral, but it certainly isn't for the better!!!

I have been eating at Golden Corral, in SC for over 20 years. I can't understand how they let it go so far down. I got here at 10 min to 11 and they were pulling down the breakfast, which I would have liked to got a piece of ham. So I waited and from 11-11:30 nothing but vegetables and fried chicken dry from breakfast and turkey in gravy which I had over rice. I bit I to something hard which was a small bone. I found 2 additional bones, which I have pic of. I'm more concerned that with no selection some child might choke on one. At 11:30 they put out Pot roast which is one of my favorites as it usually has celery and carrots and onions and potatoes in the pan. This time just pit roast and gravy. I did not want to add fried up looking carrots that were in a separate pan since I got here 10:50. No sliders, no bourbon chicken still 11:45. Next time I won't and I would suggest all bypass the one at Tanger Outlets North Charleston.

Food was left out for a long time. Ask if they could get more food hot and fresh out it took 15 to 20mins to bring out they put the hot food on top of the cold food instead of cleaning the old food that was out smh not professional at all. The dessert bar was a total mess nothin was fresh all was picked over and no one came to clean it up. The waiters there was bum rushing and wasn't even checking the tables like that. Gave our drinks but we had to ask for it instead of the waiter checking on us SMH very unexpected and unexceptionable.

Its pitiful when u have to put Texas Pete on Choclate cake just so it has some sort of taste. (If you dont realize that's Sarcasm, then u must not be a Sc Native)Im going to a buffet to eat a min 2/3 plates of just meat bc im a huge meat eater. Do u really think i care about a lil salt or seasoning? I havnt been to or even seen a Golden Corral in years, i moved to Maine. No where near the amount of restaurants we have down South as Mainers have besides Mc D's, B.k,wendys, and Subway. They have dunkin donuts, but its worse tasting flavor wise then Golden Corral. I was excited to see this golden corral was actual still open and was like he.l yeah im going to go and pig out. Havnt been to buffet for years. After coming back a 2nd time in less then a week. I WON'T Be back. Food is horrible, for the love of GOD we are down south. Our food is supposed to be cooked with seasoning. Make a dang section for people with health issues to the side but d.m let us others acutually be able to taste the food. I literally put texas pete on everything just so it had taste. And the dang desserts prob would have tasted better with hot sauce on it. Never get desserts much bc i fill up on meat/proteins. But was in the mood for sumthing sweet. Was highly disappointed.Btw i could deal with using hot sauce for flavor only, but it pretty bad when one of ur as.hole waitress goes around u and helps everyone, but only diff for me was i was not her ethnic. She asked or refilled a guy behind me coffee or drink but never once even asked me. But being the color i am, i figured i better just leave it be bc i wud be racist if i brought it to the Managers atten. Thanks Charleston Golden corral, u had my business for 2 times, and that was 2 times to many.

Love Golden Corral after Quincy's closed then Ryan's closed, GC is the only good buffet restaurant left! Or that I know about in Columbia SC!!! We just ate at the one in Charleston also and it was even bigger and better. But I love there buffets I'm a variety guy I like to be able to eat alot of different things. If they were to ever close I'd be heart broken!

Management could care less about the customer. Prices somehow went up but food quality steadily decreases. Don't know how that works, but sure. If you would like to experience this kind of food just buy TV dinners from your local Walmart. Same experience but probably tastes better.

The food was great but the bathrooms were a total disaster. Paper all over the floor. Water on the floors in the bathroom stalls. Very sickening. It should have been someone checking the bathrooms both men and women's. So this is the reason for my rating.

My husband and I visited this location last night for dinner only to be met with increased prices, decreased service, and worst quality food possible. Purple and brown steaks, rock hard hush puppies and biscuits, and certain food items that tasted and felt like they had been sitting since their lunch shift. Notable mentions: the soup on the buffet bar that had other items floating in them, the dirty plates that were expected to be used by the salad bar, and the disgusting bathroom. I ended up only eating mashed potatoes and a plate of spinach (without dressing because the dressings looks suspicious and the toppings should’ve been in the trash earlier in the day.) My husband said the best items he ate were the potatoes and stuffing because they were the only food items that weren’t hard, cold, or tasted like they were from lunch. Our waitress ignored us and didn’t bring us refills until we were about to leave, my husbands drink was in a large to go cup, while mine was in a tiny plastic restaurant cup. The waitress saw us sit in a small corner alone, because we wanted to be in a quiet area and she still decided to sit people ontop of us. Needless to say, she received no tip as she did nothing to earn one. Upon asking for a manager while there, no one was ever sent to our table and I was never put in touch with anyone. I called and an assistant manager said she would try to get me in touch with management and find out what happened. Always trust the customer first, rather than your outlandish waitresses and staff. The terrible reviews will keep building up and this restaurant won’t be here forever. I can’t fathom why the staff wouldn’t care more about their customers when the customers are the reason they’re still open despite the terrible food and service, and allowing them to have jobs still.
