The food here is great I used to work for Firehouse work there for 3 years the girls that are at this location are really sweet but the gentleman behind the counter taking the orders he just seems like he never wants to be there and that doesn't look good for their customer service but the food is always on point and like I said the girls make up for his kind of blah ness lol
I used to love coming here but not today the 2 people working was like I am not answering the phone the phone was even ringing when I was there and they did not even care now let’s talk about the food the food was nasty the bread was soggy the meat was bad still has me sick the way I felt they did not want anyone here and I will be calling tomorrow
This restaurant is near a car charging station that I visit frequently and while charging my car, I tried calling the restaurant multiple times 15 minutes before closing to place an order so I could walk over and pick it up before they closed. No one answered the phone, so I walk over, still trying to call.I enter the restaurant and the first thing the girl behind the counter does is look at the clock to see if she has to serve me. When I explain I just want a meatball sub to go, I'm told they've already put all that stuff up and can't make the food.I understand people are ready to go home, but I was still walking in 10 minutes before close. I've managed restaurants for a long time, and most places I've worked would fire people for closing early or not being able to serve a customer because we cut corners to go home early. I counted at least 5 people working, so it certainly wasn't a staffing issue. Just a group of people more concerned about leaving than doing right by the business.
Now I'm giving one star for the service I got the night I went. My ub, not sub.it was microwave tuff and there was a pile of mayo on my ub. I ask for extra things even offer to pay for it and nothing was added. The staff seem very tired So I gave them a pass. It was 4 ppl behind the counter. I've never got a bad sub from firehouse but there is a first for everything I guess. I usely go to the one off Montague where the service is good. I purchase two ubs the New York steamer was the worst. I will try again sometime in the future. Thanks for asking for feedback.
I really can’t emphasize enough how unhappy I am that you guys let me sit in your lobby for half an hour when my food was already done and didn’t say a word to me. Thanks for that. Cold sandwiches I’m gonna have to eat through an upset stomach.Edit: also thanks for not including the banana peppers and jalapeños that I specifically requested. Making it even more of a joy to eat this soggy lukewarm mass you’ve let me pay 14$ for.
One of my favorite sub sandwiches, but tonight had the worst sandwiches we ever had my wife ordered on line when she got there, they were not ready. Sp they made them fast. Were cold..

Ordered a sub on Uber eats at 6:45. Four drivers came to pick up my order that wasn’t ready. Tried calling 5x to see if they were making my sandwich. I finally got through and they put me on hold for 20 minutes. At 8:19, when most stores are closing, they decided to cancel my order. If they knew they were overwhelmed, they should have shut off their Uber eats system. A complete waste of time. I’m super upset!
