Overall: For airport pizza, it gets the job done. Good, not great. The good: The pizza was hot and fresh, with a surprising amount of flavor to it. Light and crispy thanks to their pizza oven, it's definitely a step above for an airport pizza. Staff was friendly (after the long line). The not so good: The airport price premium is real here - $20 for a 12" pizza, not including taxes. Long waits (after a long line), probably took 30 mins total before getting the pizza. Only 1 oven was being used, the other one seemed permanently shut down, which surely adds to the wait time. The amount of toppings was disappointing.
Service was good and the quality was surprisingly good for airport food. I ordered the Formaggio callzone. It was filling with an appropriate amount of filling. It wasn't overly greasy and the dough was chewy with a light char and crunch. The dipping sauce was also higher quality than expected, and I could see garlic chunks in it.It was a bit expensive, but that's expected for the airport. The service was also fast, and I my food within 5-10 minutes.
Be prepared to wait, but the pizza comes out very hot. It is a very good pizza - thin crust but not dry. Lots of toppings. Not much seating at all.
Relatively quick service, easy came out hot and crispy the way I like it. I would probably come here again considering a freshly baked pizza at an airport is a rarity. That location is right next to a beer stand. You could definitely get a pizza here and then take it up to the club lounge also if that's something you're able to do or just enjoy paying for the beer locally.
Easy spot within the airport to get your own personal pizza that is reasonably priced compared to other typical airport prices. Pizza was great and service was even by the head chef there. He made sure everything was up to his standards - really appreciate that level of detail. Definitely a good spot to stop by if you have some time before your flight. Overall great experience.
This is impressive for being a inside security restaurant. I can see that the customers are pleased including myself while waiting for our flights. I really don't have anything bad about so when traveling through Charleston international check it out. You won't be disappointed.
Website and signs say they are open until 10. 45ish White bartender with black cropped hair was unfriendly from the get go. Customers had to wait for her to come back to the bar for service, seemed like she was in the back or who knows where but annoyed by customers showing up. Shut down at 8:35 kicking us out with the pizza staff saying it was because of covid staff shortage but I heard them talking about shutting early and the Samuel Adams staff was confused why they closed early as well. Some of us have been stuck here for hours. Not their fault but not ours either. They chose this job and location. Be nice to your guests!
Had a 4 hour layover . Decided to eat here. Meatball's food service product. Sauce bland needs some doctoring up. For airport food not bad
Was here waiting on a flight and stopped over for a pizza and a drink at the bar. The pizza was good, they had a couple of local beers on tap, and our bartender was very friendly and helpful.
Every employee here has their mask pulled down below their mouths. They’re talking to each other maskless while preparing pizzas. Spitting covid all over everything.
