Okay normally Cracker Barrel is great. Today was not the case. We got Seated 20 minutes went by and no waitress not even for drinks. Manager took our order. Food came but no silverware to eat. Found out our waitress was Patience. She came To our table a total of 2 times. Food was great. Service stank. Thank you to management who stepped up
Food was delicious clean environment nice staff. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
We had a great time. We were assisted by Lisa for dinner and she was extremely kind. On the way out our little girl said goodbye and greeted Miss Mary, who asked if she could give some candies to our little one. She made her choose from the store and paid for them at the counter, despite us insisting to pay for them. We are extremely in awe of her kindness and the experience we had from Cracker Barrel. Made me teary eyed. More than the food, their very kind staff like Mary makes the place more special. Thank you Miss Mary from our Zizi!
4 adults and 2 toddlers went to dinner at about 6 on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately and drink orders were taken. Our waitress brought drinks and biscuits and corn bread so 2 boys (4 & 2) were happy. Waitress explained that the fried chicken was just started so all meals would be a little while. She then brought the boys their fruit. That kept them happy. All dinners were hot and fresh and delicious. Our waitress was perfectly attentive and help make dinner enjoyable.
Went in on Saturday afternoon (day before mother's day) they were busy but we were seated quickly. I ordered the grilled maple bacon chicken. My husband had country fried steak. Meals and drinks served promptly. I cut into chicken and first bite it was rubbery like it wasn't cooked fully. The other piece was fine. Called the manager over and told him. He promptly told he would get me a new full meal and there was no charge for my meal. Husband's food was fine. This Manager is great! We were both pleased with the action taken. We have been there several times before with no problems. We are not letting this one time stop us from coming back! Manager knew what to do and handled it great. He knew how to handle it so they won't lose customers. Thank you!
The food was horrible! We thought that maybe the food was bad, because it was Mother's Day. We tried it again the next day and the food was still horrible. The French fries were brown, due to old grease. I sent the fries back and the same thing. The pancakes taste like they were sitting for a while. The sausage tasted old. The food was not fresh at all. We have never had a bad experience at other Cracker Barrels before. We will never go to this location ever again. Really deserves zero stars.I must say that our server Sarah was excellent though. Also, the manager was extremely nice on the Mother's Day visit. We didn't even bother to speak to the manager the second time around.
We had a very nice dinner. Food was delicious and there was lots of options to choose from. Service was really nice and friendly. Price-quality-ratio was really good.
I have ordered carry out and curbside pickup numerous times at this location. I work in Charleston and live 100 miles away on Lake Marion. I believe I have made my last order from this location. On Friday March 25 I phoned a curbside pickup order. They responded with a text stating that they were preparing my order and would be ready at 3:10 pm. I arrived at 3:15 and responded to their text, as instructed that I had arrived and my vehicle make and spot number. Waited 15 minutes no one came with my order. I then called the restaurant no answer. I called again no answer. Finally someone answered and I had to give them all the information that I had entered previously. This restaurant is not in tune with carry out or curbside pickup. You always seem to get lost in the shuffle. I had even placed a pickup order at this location. After arriving had to wait over an hour. Somehow my order got misplaced. I like Cracker Barrel and will go to another location. This happens way to often. I keep thinking it was a one time issue. But that is not the case. They were not busy with inside customers because parking lot was empty. Management needs to wake up!
Cracker Barrel was walking distance to our hotel. Fairly busy, but our party of 3 was seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive and took our order within 10 minutes. 2 of us ordered the Friday fish special and the fried chicken salad. After about 30 minutes, the waitress told us the kitchen was slower than normal and brought us cornbread and biscuits. Our order arrived after an hour wait. It was hot, but the steak fries were undercooked. The meal was standard CB fair, not excellent enough for an hour wait. Our waitress was very good.
Meal was very good. Waitress very attentive & congenial. To make it even more impressive, our meal was paid for by an unknown source. We were in shock & honored. Looking forward to treating someone else with same gesture. Thanks CB?
