If I could give the staff there a 10 I would. Dining there at 10 on a Saturday evening it was obvious they'd all had a long hard day. But all were not only gracious-each took the time to offer the one thing I think we could all use more of now - friendly smiles & caring ?'s. Thanks for a good meal & fantastic service from all who work there. Certainly made my day better!!!!??
The waitress we had was on fire. I was already advised when we got to the restaurant with my party of 11 that they only had three waitstaff and would do their best. She did an excellent job providing us with some of the best service we've had in a long time. What are my expectations were low and she blew it out of the water! Well worth the 30% tip.
Walked in at 8:50 the hostess continued to do what might have been pre-closing cleaning. (They close at 10). after a few minutes she said she'd be right with us while she continued to do other tasks. Finally seated us at 9.They were not busy.Four tables including ours and three people at the barWaitress comes to take our drink orderAt 9:10 brings one of our drinks(iced tea) and comments that nobody brought us our other drinks yet from the bar. The bartender was NOT serving anyone during this whole time so it's not like he was busy.9:15 We finally decided to leave and she started to bring us one of our drinks. I tell her we want to just pay and leave and she starts asking the bartender about our 3rd drink.. He says he didn't see it on the order and will make it. No thanks.25 minutes to just get 2 of the 3 drinks and they never took our food order.
Good service despite overstretched servers. The delicious fajitas that came with steak, shrimp, and grilled chicken were wonderful!!! They were so tender, I ate them, as they were, not over seasoned. It was so good that I forgot to use the fajita wraps. I also forgot to take any photos. However, be careful of the salt-laden, pre- made, trucked in, salsa served with the tortilla chips and fajitas. I believe it's flavor IS SALT, not Salsa.
Food and prices were great. Waiter was new but I could tell he was trying to do his best and recognized the importance of good service. I would have given five stars if I didn't notice the fruit flies at the bar. You must use clorox, wipe down and clean under items daily at the bar!
If I could leave a zero I would. How do you mess up dessert? How is your margarita machine broken?? How do your regular drinks taste like dishwater and you not care??I come here once a year. I was definitely severely disappointed this time. Do better! I waited 30 minutes for a seat to eat horrible food with bad service and dirty silverware. Sanitation grade has to be low. It's SC so it wasn't visible smh.
It would have been 4 or 5 stars but when given take out boxes for almost two full meals, no bag and I accidentally left it on the table. Came back less than 5 minutes later after trying to call and phone being busy before then, and he had thrown the boxes away instead of setting them aside. Both were not the cheapest thing on the menu and barely any of the food ( especially the entre's) were not touched.
We eat here often, but last evening it was not a good meal. Ordered the old timer hamburger which is ALWAYS delicious, but last night it tasted like it had been cooked long before we got there. The French fries were keep under a heat lamp too long. ?It wasn’t busy when we got there, so no reason for not preparing fresh French fries. The whole meal felt rushed. We ordered chips and salsa and I got a cup of chili for starters. We got the chips and chili at the same time ( that was fine) but we had a chance to eat 2 chips and our food was there. We barely finished our meal and the server was ready for us to leave No one was waiting for our table. Will have to rethink about going there any time soon?
The big mouth bites were awesome and the southwest Caesar salad was pretty yummy. Pretty good for the price!!
The restaurant is in dire need of redo. Old, dirty and tired looking. Walked in and the host was sitting at a table on her phone. They seated us at a table with 4 chairs when there were 6 of us, so we dragged the chairs over. Waiter came and we asked for the Happy Hour menu which he went tofind but couldn't. Told us Margaritas were on the menu all the time none of us could hear him. Took drink order and then we ordered our food.Salad came, then right after our food came but still no drinks. Finally brought drinks next trip. Food was tasty and prices were ok.
